Fortnite has officially welcomed the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers into its world as part of Chapter 6 Season 4 titled Shock N Awesome. The crossover brings a mix of nostalgic fan service and fresh gameplay additions, giving players a chance to suit up as their favorite Rangers and even take control of the iconic Megazord later in the season.

The Power Rangers Crossover 

The Power Rangers crossover introduces a full lineup of skins, cosmetics, and themed content based on the classic Mighty Morphin series. Epic Games even released a live action tokusatsu style trailer that blends Fortnite’s visuals with the classic 90s Power Rangers vibe. The trailer was filmed at Vasquez Rocks, a real world location used in the original TV series, making it a nostalgic nod for long time fans.

The crossover features both in-game store content and Battle Pass exclusives, as well as a special mid-season unlock that will add one of the most recognizable mechs in TV history.

Key Details On The Crossover

Starting August 7, players can unlock the Green Ranger outfit through the Battle Pass, along with an alternate White Ranger style. These skins are exclusive to the Battle Pass and cannot be purchased in the Item Shop. The pass also contains themed cosmetics tied to the Power Rangers universe, giving players a reason to grind through levels.

Fortnite X Power Rangers Outfits 

On August 8, the Fortnite Item Shop will add the Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Pink Rangers. Each Ranger comes with their own themed pickaxe, back bling, and emote, plus the Go Go Power Rangers Redux Jam Track. Items can be purchased individually or as a complete bundle for 3,600 V-Bucks. Individual pricing is set at 1,200 V-Bucks for outfits, 500 for pickaxes, 300 for back blings, 300 to 400 for emotes, and 500 for the Jam Track or weapon wrap.

Mid-season content arrives on September 16 with the Dino Megazord outfit, unlockable through Battle Pass challenges. This is also when Rita Repulsa’s Support is expected to go live, a new gameplay boon that grants random ammo types every few seconds.
