Polemos partners with Guinevere Capital to integrate web3 infrastructure with traditional gaming, aiming to enhance monetisation and player engagement across gaming ecosystems.
Polemos has entered into a strategic partnership with Guinevere Capital, a gaming and esports investment firm known for its involvement in projects such as GiantX, iTero, Perion, and Skybox. Guinevere Capital brings experience from the traditional gaming sector, having worked across titles including League of Legends, Valorant, and Rocket League. The collaboration is intended to align the technological capabilities of Polemos with the strategic and operational strengths of Guinevere Capital.
Carl Wilgenbus, CEO of Polemos, stated that the partnership with Guinevere Capital represents a significant step in the company’s efforts to increase access to gaming rewards and improve monetisation options for industry participants. He noted that the collaboration would support publishers and studios in navigating the changing landscape of both gaming and esports, providing them with the means to adapt and grow.

This partnership focuses on combining Polemos's infrastructure, including its Forge platform, with Guinevere Capital’s networks and operational experience. Polemos’s Forge platform is central to this partnership, offering tools for asset management and audience engagement that are designed for the web3 environment. By integrating these tools with Guinevere Capital’s existing reach across esports and gaming ecosystems, the partnership will facilitate new ways for gaming companies to connect with their communities. This approach reflects a broader industry trend of bridging web2 and web3 to create more flexible and responsive gaming infrastructures.
Dave Harris, a partner at Guinevere Capital, highlighted the importance of Polemos’s technology in addressing key gaps in the gaming sector. Harris, whose background includes investment and operational roles in the Riot Games and Activision Blizzard ecosystems, expressed confidence in the potential of the partnership to support commercial outcomes and further development across the industry.

Alongside the partnership announcement, Polemos has initiated the Token Generation Event (TGE) for its utility token, $PLMS. The event began on June 23, 2025, at 5:00 AM UTC, and the token is now available on both MEXC and Uniswap exchanges. The introduction of $PLMS is a key part of the platform’s broader strategy to integrate blockchain technology into gaming in a way that supports player involvement and system functionality.
The $PLMS token is designed to operate as both a utility and governance token within the Polemos ecosystem. It enables functions such as asset management, player incentives, and participation in governance mechanisms. The TGE follows a series of development milestones and partnerships, and it signals Polemos’ intent to continue building out its presence in the web3 gaming sector.
