PlayStation Plus Games for August 2025

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2025, bringing a wide range of titles across genres to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. The catalog highlights both blockbuster releases and smaller creative projects, reflecting the continued effort to provide variety to subscribers as the service enters its 15th year.

The new titles will be available starting August 19, 2025, with additions spanning fighting games, action-adventure, tactical RPGs, and narrative-driven experiences. Premium members will also gain access to classic PlayStation titles and a new time-limited trial.

The reimagined fighting game continues the legendary franchise with a cinematic story mode led by Fire God Liu Kang, who has reshaped the Mortal Kombat universe in his vision of peace. Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key (PS5, PS4)

This installment concludes the popular Atelier Ryza trilogy. Indika (PS5)

PlayStation Plus Premium Exclusive Additions

In addition to the Game Catalog, PlayStation Plus Premium members will gain access to enhanced versions of two classic titles from Capcom’s survival horror franchise:

Resident Evil 2 (PS5, PS4) – Featuring Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield in Raccoon City, the title includes modern enhancements such as up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and video filter options.
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (PS5, PS4) – Continuing the events of Resident Evil 2, players follow Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape the city and uncover Umbrella’s secrets. Like Resident Evil 2, this release comes with upgraded features for modern platforms.

Additionally, Premium members will have access to a Game Trial for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, allowing up to five hours of play. Progress and trophies from the trial will transfer to the full game if purchased.
