Available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Lies of P is an action role-playing game that presents a darker retelling of The Adventures of Pinocchio. In this version, players control Pinocchio as he searches for Mr. Geppetto in the city of Krat, a setting inspired by the Belle Époque period. The city has fallen into chaos, with mechanical puppets turning hostile and the remaining signs of humanity in decline.

The game incorporates challenging combat systems typical of the Soulslike genre. Players can equip various weapons and specialized Legion Arms that offer unique abilities. A narrative choice mechanic allows the protagonist to lie in order to progress, which can influence the outcome of his journey toward becoming human. The title emphasizes exploration, tactical combat, and moral decisions within a grim and atmospheric world.

DayZ

DayZ, available for PlayStation 4, is a multiplayer survival game set in a post-apocalyptic open world. Players must manage hunger, health, and supplies while navigating hostile environments populated by both infected individuals and other survivors. The game includes two maps: the original Chernarus and the additional Livonia region, covering a combined area of 163 square kilometers.

Gameplay focuses on realism and persistence, with no checkpoints or manual saves. Once a player’s character is eliminated, all progress is lost, and they must start over. This structure encourages strategic play and risk management. DayZ continues to appeal to players interested in survival mechanics, emergent multiplayer interactions, and open-world exploration.

My Hero One’s Justice 2

Also included in this month’s offering is My Hero One’s Justice 2 for PlayStation 4. The game is a 3D arena fighter based on the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. It serves as a sequel to the original My Hero One’s Justice, expanding the roster of characters and continuing the story.

Players can engage in one-on-one combat using characters with distinctive abilities known as Quirks. The game includes large, destructible arenas and features from both single-player and multiplayer modes. My Hero One’s Justice 2 is designed to closely follow the anime’s narrative, giving fans an opportunity to experience key battles and storylines through interactive gameplay.

Last Chance to Download July Games 

PlayStation Plus members who have not yet downloaded the July 2025 Monthly Games (Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant) should do so before August 4. After that date, these titles will be removed from the monthly offer and will no longer be available for download through the subscription service.
