Dubai-based web3 gaming developer PiP World has raised $10 million in a seed funding round from UAE fintech company Exinity. The investment will help PiP World grow its portfolio of educational games that blend engaging gameplay with financial learning, targeting emerging markets where access to financial education is limited.
Learn, Play, Earn
PiP World aims to position itself as the "Duolingo of crypto" by creating casual games that combine interactive learning with personalized experiences. Among its offerings is StockRise, a stock market simulation game built on Roblox and acquired by PiP World in August. The company followed that move by launching Gold Rush, a Telegram-based game, in September.
Additionally, PiP World plans to release a blockchain-enabled mobile game called PiP Trader by the end of 2024. The company envisions an interconnected gaming ecosystem where players of the Roblox and Telegram games are encouraged to transition to its blockchain-based mobile game.

PiP World’s strategy aligns with the growing trend of free-to-play games on platforms like Telegram, which have been attracting millions of users with token incentives and airdrops. Games such as Hamster Kombat, Catizen, and Notcoin have already made significant inroads into the web3 gaming space, showcasing the potential of accessible, token-driven gaming experiences.
PiP World’s approach focuses on providing value to users in emerging economies, where financial literacy and tools are often scarce. The free-to-play nature of its Telegram games and the potential to earn tokens through airdrops have made the platform especially appealing to users in developing regions.
According to PiP World, the partnership with Exinity will help further its mission of offering financial education through innovative gaming. "We’re excited to join forces with Exinity as we advance our mission to transform the way people learn about financial markets," said PiP World CEO Saad Naja. "This investment will enable us to expand our offerings and reach more users globally, particularly in the emerging markets where financial tools and knowledge are scarce."
