Pentagon Games has announced a partnership with the Tron DAO to build a new digital world on the Tron blockchain. This collaboration aims to provide a decentralized and community-driven platform where users can create and customize their virtual spaces. The digital world will be accessible across multiple devices, including desktop, mobile, and virtual reality (VR), allowing users to participate in a variety of interactive experiences and social activities.
Pentagon Games Reveals New IP on Tron Blockchain
The Tron DAO, which is a decentralized autonomous organization focused on decentralizing the internet through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), will offer the infrastructure necessary for the project. The goal is to provide a digital world that includes virtual arenas, housing, digital collectibles, and collaboration with key figures in the community. The environment will be powered by Pentagon Games' augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, creating a seamless user experience. The platform will also function as a 3D marketplace to showcase brands within the Tron ecosystem.
How Tron Helps Web3 Gaming
As part of the digital world, Pentagon Games will also introduce Novatron: The Rift’s Echo, a narrative centered on the character of Novatron, a scientist-turned-hero whose abilities are altered by a cosmic anomaly. The story follows Novatron as he seeks to understand his new identity while working to protect a world on the brink of collapse. This project marks the beginning of the Blockchain Superheroes (BCSH) collection, which is a trademarked initiative under Pentagon Games.
Over time, more superheroes will be introduced into the larger 3D world, helping to foster deeper connections and interactions among members of the Tron community. Sam Elfarra, community spokesperson for the Tron DAO, emphasized the importance of GameFi in the broader web3 landscape. He noted in an interview with GamesBeat, "GameFi is an important element that makes up the web3 landscape. We are excited to see dedicated developers, creatives, and projects, such as Pentagon Games, utilizing the Tron network for building their immersive digital world."

Emma Liu, CEO of Pentagon Games, highlighted the role of Tron’s established blockchain platform in the development of this new digital experience. She stated, “As an immersive digital experience studio, our goal is to blend rich digital content to make virtual experiences as impactful and rewarding as the real world. Tron’s proven scalability and efficiency will be a major impetus in enhancing the user experience we aim to deliver for its vibrant community.”
Pentagon Games is also working on the ZKEVM Chain Pentagon Chain, which aims to support a decentralized ecosystem designed to improve both gaming and social interactions. This initiative is intended to provide secure, scalable solutions for both web2 and web3 companies, further supporting the development of a digital environment for users and developers to engage with.
Tron Blockchain Stats
The Tron network, founded by H.E. Justin Sun in September 2017, has seen substantial growth since its MainNet launch in May 2018. The integration of BitTorrent into the network in July 2018 strengthened its position in the decentralized web3 sector. As of November 2024, the Tron network has over 270 million user accounts, with more than 8 billion total transactions and over $16 billion in total value locked (TVL).
Additionally, Tron hosts the largest circulating supply of USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin globally, surpassing Ethereum’s USDT supply in April 2021. Tron achieved full decentralization in December 2021 and operates as a community-governed DAO. In October 2022, Tron became the national blockchain of the Commonwealth of Dominica, marking a significant milestone as the first public blockchain to partner with a sovereign nation to develop national blockchain infrastructure.
The collaboration between Pentagon Games and the Tron DAO represents a significant step in the development of web3 gaming and decentralized virtual worlds. Both organizations continue to work towards creating a dynamic ecosystem for users, developers, and content creators within the growing blockchain space.
