This latest testing phase introduces a broad set of changes aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience while offering players the opportunity to earn rewards from a $500,000 prize pool. About Party Icons

At its core, Party Icons offers players access to three primary game modes, with more planned for the future. The flagship mode, Party Heist, presents a party royale experience where four teams of two battle across whimsical maps. Players can secure treasure and extract early or face off against enemies for bigger rewards. This mode combines fun, fast-paced action with tactical depth, although the focus remains on entertainment rather than tactical intensity.

Party Brawl shifts the focus to 3v3 team deathmatches, offering a fast-paced, action-packed experience, while Carnival Clash brings a lighter tone with over 25 party games designed for quick, casual play. All game modes are designed to reflect modern gaming habits, with short session lengths of under 12 minutes.

Players take on the roles of Hero Icons, characters inspired by art toys and pop culture. These characters feature unique combat abilities and upgradeable weapons, adding layers of progression and depth to the fast-paced gameplay. Some of these characters and weapons are minted on-chain, making them valuable assets in the Partyverse's ecosystem.

Gameplay Overhaul and Extraction Mode Improvements

One of the central updates in Closed Beta 2 is the overhaul of the Extraction Mode. The development team has streamlined this feature to create a more consistent experience by removing gold, diamonds, and energy fields in favor of a unified entry system. This results in shorter queue times and faster matchmaking. Players now have the ability to fully customize their loadouts by selecting their preferred heroes, weapons, armor, mods, medkits, and ammunition. This added flexibility allows for greater strategic planning and individualized playstyles.

Optional paid features such as Safe Boxes and Mirblite Collectors have also been introduced. Safe Boxes allow players to store loot and retain it even after elimination, while Mirblite Collectors enhance the ability to generate resources. The new extraction system supports trading of extracted items, enabling players to reuse or exchange their resources freely, both in-game and on external marketplaces.

Redesigned Mirble Mining and Asset Utility

Closed Beta 2 brings a significant update to the Mirble mining system. The game now uses a productivity-based Mining Power model instead of traditional hash-rate competition. Players increase their Mining Power by staking heroes and upgrading Mining Rigs. Raw Mirblite is generated passively by heroes and must be refined into Mirble using Mining Stations. These stations require both staked heroes and Mining Rigs to operate, and rigs themselves can be upgraded using materials obtained through gameplay or marketplace purchases.

To further enhance mining capabilities, players can stake up to five OGX NFTs per account. As of this update, Mirble minting is live, enabling players to convert their mined Mirble into on-chain assets, which can be traded on the Sky Mavis Marketplace. This makes Mirble a key component of the in-game economy, as well as a metric for future airdrop eligibility involving the upcoming $PARTY token.

Combat Enhancements and New Content

The developers have introduced several gameplay changes aimed at improving combat and in-game balance. This includes adjustments to hero and gear statistics across different rarities, a durability system for armor that must be repaired using Mirble, and updates to boss mechanics to make encounters more challenging. The addition of Elite Shield Units and a new Hong Kong map introduces fresh dynamics, including unique extraction routes and boss battles.

New heroes have also been added to the game. Wednesday the Camel is designed as a durable tank character, while Chester the Madcat is a fast-paced hero available exclusively through the Party Pass. Additionally, four new Party Boxes have been added, featuring upgraded heroes from the previous beta phase. All heroes are now upgradable to G Tier, further expanding customization and gameplay depth.

Marketplace and Web3 Economy Improvements

The web3 components of Party Icons have been updated with several enhancements to the game’s marketplace. These include a redesigned user interface, a price comparison tool for more informed trading, and support for both Gold and Diamonds as trading currencies. A new NFT burn mechanic allows players to convert unused assets like Heroes, Weapons, and Mirble back into usable in-game materials. The marketplace now supports real-time filtering, making it easier for players to locate specific items and assess value more efficiently.

Earning Opportunities and Airdrop Preparation

Players have multiple ways to earn rewards during Closed Beta 2. These include completing limited-time challenges, engaging with the Party Pass, progressing through Bounty Quests, and using the new Fusion System. All of these in-game activities contribute to a player’s eligibility for a share of the $500,000 prize pool. In addition to direct earnings, players are encouraged to collect as much Mirble as possible, as it also functions as a metric for airdrop allocation when the $PARTY token is officially launched.

While labeled a closed beta, Party Icons is freely accessible to all users. The game can be downloaded on PC through HyperPlay or Windows, and on mobile via Android APK or TestFlight for iOS. Links and access information are available on the official Party Icons website.
