New Battle Pass and Killbox Card Highlights

The Open Beta Season 9 Battle Pass introduces the new rare card Killbox, a Kathari effect card requiring 5 Energy to play. When deployed, Killbox grants all friendly units a temporary +1/+0 boost, enhancing offensive strategies within the same turn. This powerful card offers a strategic edge to players aiming to strengthen their on-field presence, making it a valuable addition for experienced and new players alike.

In addition to Killbox, the Battle Pass includes new in-game cosmetics. Players can unlock a unique Paragon Skin, a Card Back, and a Card Frame, all exclusive to Season 9. A new title achievement, “Crashing Wave,” is also available, awarded to players reaching Level 33 on the Battle Pass. Players progress through levels by winning matches and completing daily and weekly objectives, adding variety and incentive to each gaming session.

Raffle Opportunities for Merciless Bulwark 

Parallel Studios has also announced multiple raffles throughout Season 9, allowing players to win limited edition versions of popular cards. Players holding the First Edition (FE) version of the Merciless Bulwark card on November 8, 00:00 UTC, will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win Special Edition (SE), Perfect Loop (PL), or Masterpiece (MP) versions of the card. Each First Edition card acts as an entry, increasing chances for those holding multiple copies.

Similarly, the new Killbox card will have its own raffle, with Special Edition and Masterpiece versions available to win. Parallel Studios plans to reveal more about the Killbox raffle toward the season’s end. These raffles provide unique rewards and highlight the game’s commitment to offering exclusive content for its player base.

Introducing The Aftermath Expansion

As Season 9 progresses, Parallel fans can look forward to the Aftermath expansion, expected to be released in late November. Parallel Studios has tentatively set November 23 for the Aftermath card drop, with gameplay integration anticipated by November 25. For months, the team has previewed new Aftermath cards on social media, giving fans glimpses of over 50 cards without revealing specific gameplay mechanics.

Teasers have also introduced a set of “Supply Cache” tokens to be included in the expansion, with five distinct types shown so far. Though their in-game functionality remains unknown, the tokens are generating intrigue within the Parallel community. These additions, combined with detailed card artwork and lore snippets, signal a significant update that will likely expand Parallel's strategic depth.
