Ascend the End launches a $10,000 PvPvE tournament with play-to-earn mechanics, web3 integration, and creator incentives. Runs June 27–29.
Ascend the End is launching its first major tournament from June 27 to June 29, featuring a $10,000 prize pool and a 48-hour leaderboard format. As a web3-based third-person shooter, the game incorporates blockchain elements and on-chain progression with traditional extraction gameplay. The event, titled “PlaySafe, PlayHard,” allows players to compete in a PvPvE setting where performance is measured across multiple metrics including extractions, kills, objective completion, and survival time. Rewards are based on a player’s best individual performance across two separate arenas, with prizes distributed in both USDT and HONOR, the game’s native digital token.
P2E in Ascend the End $10k Event
Ascend the End is a competitive third-person shooter built on blockchain infrastructure. The game combines extraction survival gameplay with roguelike elements, competitive progression, and blockchain-enabled features. Players interact with a dynamic AI game master and complete missions in PvPvE environments. With a focus on esports structure, seasonal play formats, and digital ownership through on-chain systems and NFTs, Ascend the End describes itself as a hybrid between traditional web2 gaming and web3.
The tournament is structured in two stages: the Marketplace Arena and the Fort-Landing Arena. All players begin in Stage 1, where scores are recorded based on key gameplay metrics. To qualify for Stage 2, players must earn a Special Coordination Pass by ranking highly in the first stage. Only the top single performance from each player per arena is used to calculate final standings.
Stage 1 offers a prize of $160 for the first-place player, with rewards scaling down to $10 for ranks 21 through 30. Stage 2 increases the stakes, offering $320 for the top player, with lower tiers receiving between $20 and $80 depending on placement. Alongside USDT payouts, each reward tier includes HONOR token allocations, which can be used within the game’s on-chain systems.
A central part of the tournament’s integrity is maintained through the use of PlaySafe ID, an identity verification system that uses KYC-backed checks to prevent cheating. While it verifies player identities, it does not store personal data, offering an added layer of fairness without compromising privacy. Repeat offenders are automatically restricted from participation, helping to create a secure competitive environment.
In addition to player rewards, Ascend the End has introduced incentives for streamers and content creators through a collaboration with StreamVerse. During the tournament weekend, creators who stream their gameplay using the StreamVerse overlay become eligible for additional earnings through a donation-based rewards system. If total viewer donations across all creators reach $1,000, a $1,000 bonus is awarded to the individual creator who receives the most support.
If the collective donation threshold is not met, StreamVerse will match each creator’s donation total, effectively doubling their earnings. A separate leaderboard for key opinion leaders (KOLs) ranks creators based on social media performance and promotional reach. Top contributors are eligible for rewards of up to $70 in USDT and 35,000 HONOR tokens.
To participate in the tournament, players are required to complete a few steps before the event begins. They must register for the kickoff through the Lu.ma platform, create a player profile on the Ascend Universe Hub, and obtain a game access code via Telegram or through a referral link. While downloading the game prior to the event is optional, servers will open at the official tournament start time, and players will have the full 48-hour window to compete.
Multiple runs are allowed, though only the best result from each arena will be counted toward the final leaderboard. The inclusion of PlaySafe ID adds an extra layer of security, reinforcing its goal of delivering a fair and scalable competitive ecosystem. For more information on participation, gameplay mechanics, and official tournament rules, players are directed to consult the Ascend the End whitepaper or platform.
