OverKnights has announced the launch of its second Play-to-Airdrop campaign, Quantum Harvest, following the conclusion of its first season, Crystal Fragments. The new campaign is expected to kick off with Season 2 on November 3 and provides players with multiple ways to earn in-game rewards, NFTs, and cryptocurrency ahead of the upcoming $OVC Token Generation Event (TGE). The event expands the web3 card battler’s existing play-to-earn ecosystem while giving both new and returning players opportunities to participate in skill-based gameplay.
OverKnights Event Offers Big Rewards
OverKnights is a free-to-play web3 card battler where players build humanoid mechs from modular parts and face off in turn-based PvP matches. Each duel combines tactical deckbuilding with cinematic combat, where cards trigger attacks, defenses, and counterplays. Players aim to dismantle opposing mechs while keeping their own intact. Victories reward participants with new cards, mech parts, and resources to strengthen their OverKnight and deck.
Developed with support from Immutable and Sequence, OverKnights is currently in open alpha and available for free download on the Epic Games Store for Windows PCs. While the game can be played entirely without blockchain integration, connecting an Immutable Passport unlocks access to web3 features such as play-to-airdrop rewards, NFT ownership, and trading, as well as participation in events like Quantum Harvest.
Quantum Harvest Campaign and NFTs
The Quantum Harvest campaign is designed to reward active players through quests, leaderboard rankings, and referrals. At the heart of the event are Quantum Caches, which contain Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals, both of which are ERC-1155 NFTs. These NFTs can later be exchanged for $OVC tokens once the TGE is live. Players can earn Quantum Caches by completing daily and weekly quests, achieving high ranks on leaderboards, and referring other players to the game.
Certain NFTs enhance reward potential during the event. Pilot Badges act as limited-time VIP passes that increase the quantity and quality of drops from Quantum Caches, while Genesis Pilot NFTs apply multipliers that can significantly boost rewards based on rarity. The campaign also introduces a rental system, allowing Badge owners to lend them to other players with customizable reward-sharing arrangements. Renters gain enhanced Quantum Cache rewards but do not qualify for $IMX leaderboard payouts unless they hold their own Badge.
Daily ELO Leaderboard and Genesis Pilots
In addition to standard quests, Genesis Pilot NFT holders can access bonus challenges that grant extra Quantum Caches by completing specific milestones, such as dealing a certain amount of damage or reaching shield thresholds. These challenges refresh daily and can be completed across multiple sessions.
The event includes a daily ELO leaderboard, which automatically distributes Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals to the top-ranked players. The highest-ranking participant earns ten Rare Fragment Crystals, while the second place receives five, and the remaining top five players are awarded varying quantities of standard Fragment Shards. An IMX Reward Pool also grows as more Pilot Badges are purchased and is distributed at the end of the event based on players’ total collected Fragments.
Free Access on Epic Games Store
To join the Quantum Harvest campaign, players need to log in through the OverKnights app and connect their Immutable Passport wallet. The game can be downloaded for free from the Epic Games Store. Players can mint their own Pilot Badge NFTs, obtain referral codes, and trade assets in the in-game marketplace. The referral system rewards confirmed players who achieve three wins, granting leaderboard points, with the top ten players sharing a portion of the IMX Leaderboard Pool.
Daily and weekly quests require participation in random PvP matches, with daily objectives rewarding one Quantum Cache and weekly objectives awarding seven. The drop rates and quantities of items from these caches depend on whether the player owns a Pilot Badge. Players holding a Badge have a higher chance of receiving larger quantities of Fragment Shards or Rare Fragment Crystals, while non-badge holders typically receive smaller amounts.
Quantum Harvest is capped at one million Fragments, including 800,000 Fragment Shards and 200,000 Rare Fragment Crystals. Additionally, one million $OVC tokens are reserved for distribution following the TGE. The campaign is designed to give all participants, whether new or returning, a fair chance to earn rewards through strategic gameplay, leaderboard performance, and active community participation.
