As Season 1 of Legends of the Mara in the Otherside game concludes, an important transition is taking place in the game's ecosystem, affecting various elements of gameplay. In Season 1, Voyagers have been helping the Shades fight the Shattered, preventing them from unleashing their full powers and manifesting completely in the Otherside.

However, as Season 2 begins, this dynamic changes. The Shattered, no longer constrained by the Shades, unleash their wrath unbounded in the Otherside. To protect the realm, Koda, Kodamara, Mara, and The Friends must strategize a robust defense against the merciless attacks of The Shattered.

In this critical situation, the Voyagers' skills and strategic abilities will be crucial. They can protect Otherside's defenders by strategically equipping slots and hitpoints (HP) on game cards. Once a card’s HP is exhausted, Voyagers can let them recover over a cooldown period or use other means to expedite the healing process and regain HP.

A key new feature is the introduction of Unearthed Artifacts, special treasures that Voyagers receive upon defeating a Shattered. While some of these Artifacts will be consistent across all leaderboard tiers, there will be limited supply exclusive rewards for Voyagers who swiftly defeat a Shattered. This addition is set to make the gameplay more rewarding and exciting in Season 2 of Otherside.
