According to Open Loot, OL Chain enables real-time settlement across in-game economies, eliminating lag or friction when players buy, sell, or craft items. The chain debuts with ultra-low gas fees and an initial phase of zero-fee transactions, allowing studios to onboard users without requiring wallet setups or complex blockchain steps.
The company says OL Chain’s architecture is optimized for high throughput and scalability, while inheriting the security standards of major public blockchains to ensure transactions remain tamper-proof and verifiable.

For players, OL Chain’s introduction removes one of the main deterrents of blockchain gaming, gas management, while providing the verifiable ownership benefits of web3. For developers, the network introduces optional gas sponsorships, giving studios the ability to cover transaction costs for their players to simplify onboarding and increase retention.
