The updated roadmap reflects the studio’s long-term vision for My Pet Hooligan and marks significant progress since the game's initial roadmap was released over three years ago. One of the major changes in 2025 will be the transition from a free-to-play model to a pay-to-play system, which is expected to take effect in March. Players who download the game before this transition will retain access for free, while the early access price will be set at $9.99, increasing to $19.99 at launch.

The roadmap indicates that the game will progress from early access to an alpha phase between May and August 2025, remaining in this stage throughout the year. A beta version is anticipated in 2026. Other planned updates include the introduction of mini-games, an extraction mechanism, and the integration of ZuckBots, which are Ethereum-based NFTs that will function as in-game companions and have a dedicated mobile game.

UGC Contest Offers $KARRAT Rewards

The February UGC Contest is designed to engage the community by encouraging players to create and share content related to My Pet Hooligan on social media platforms such as Twitter and YouTube. Participants can submit a variety of content, including guides, memes, gameplay clips, and fan art. Bonus points are awarded for content focusing on skateboard guides, game mode explanations, and esports-related content.

Once a submission is posted, players must share the link in the #ugc-submission channel of the official Discord server to be eligible for rewards. The contest began on February 10 following the selection of UGC Council Members, who will review and score submissions at the end of each month. Entries are evaluated based on quality, creativity, engagement, reach, and timeliness, with engagement measured by the ratio of comments, likes, and retweets.

A total of 20 winners will receive $KARRAT rewards, with the top-ranking participant earning 3,000 $KARRAT. The second and third-place winners will receive 2,000 and 1,500 $KARRAT, respectively, while those ranking fourth through tenth will be awarded 1,000 $KARRAT each. Participants placing between eleventh and twentieth place will each receive 500 $KARRAT.
