From May 6 to May 12, the OpenSea Primary Drop Campaign allowed users to mint the MSU Scroll SBT, with over 1.7 million wallets participating. A key feature of the new system is Reward Experience 2.0 (RX 2.0), which shifts the focus from repetitive loot drops to meaningful item ownership. Items in MapleStory N are designed to be limited in quantity and tradable, introducing a layer of scarcity intended to give in-game assets long-term value. Players can earn NESO, the primary in-game currency, by completing quests and other tasks. While NESO starts as an off-chain asset, it can be converted into on-chain tokens that allow players to create NFTs from their items.

NXPC, the utility token within the MapleStory Universe, supports two core functions: Fission and Fusion. Fission allows users to spend NXPC to generate new items, while Fusion enables them to merge NFTs and receive NXPC in return. The token has a fixed supply of 1 billion and plays a central role in regulating item creation and trading within the ecosystem.
