About Somnis: Rumble Rush

Somnis: Rumble Rush is a free-to-play web3 real-time strategy game available on both Android and iOS platforms. Players engage in 1v1 lane-based battles using decks made up of upgradable cards that deploy units and spells across 3D battlefields. Each match centers on the destruction of Dream Cores, key structures located at the ends of multiple lanes, with victory achieved by strategically outplaying opponents in real time.

Players can access the game via the Play Store or App Store and are required to log in using an Immutable Passport, which can be created using an email address or linked through services such as Google or Apple. The title continues to be a part of the growing web3 gaming space, integrating blockchain technology to support asset ownership and play-to-earn mechanics.

New Campaign Chapters and Smarter AI

One of the key additions in this update is the introduction of five new campaign chapters. Players can now access chapters 16 through 20, which add new levels of challenge to the player-versus-environment (PvE) mode. According to the development team, these chapters feature smarter artificial intelligence, designed to provide a more demanding and strategic gameplay experience. This change is expected to appeal to players seeking more complexity in their matches, particularly in solo play. In addition, the update raises the maximum level cap for NFTs to 60, allowing players to further develop and customize their in-game assets.

Significant Increases to Battle Pass Rewards

As of May 20, the game’s Premium and Special battle passes have been updated with significantly increased Gold rewards. The Premium Pass now offers 550 percent more Gold, while the Special Pass provides a 600 percent increase. Gold remains a central in-game currency in Somnis: Rumble Rush, used for crafting items, leveling up cards, and expanding a player’s Village. It can be earned through several in-game activities including daily check-ins, missions, and all tiers of the battle pass, including the Free Pass. Both the Premium and Special Passes are available for purchase through in-app transactions and provide players with additional benefits such as exclusive quests and increased stamina auto-recharge limits.

Card Balancing Changes

The update also introduces several balancing changes to both weaken and strengthen specific cards. Among the nerfs, Typhon’s health has been reduced by 20 percent, Lightning’s mana cost has been increased to 30, Plaguelands’ tower basic damage has been reduced by one point, and Lullaby’s SS Skill now returns 25 mana instead of the previous 40. On the other hand, several cards have received buffs. Lock Varanus now has a 60 percent increase in health, Vortex’s unit damage has been increased by 30 percent, and Lullaby’s mana cost has been reduced to 55. Additional changes include an increased debuff attack-delay for B. Dos, and expanded buff effectiveness for Nocens, with increased duration and range.

Continued Engagement Through Events

This latest update follows recent events such as the Double Leaderboard Challenge, which featured a total prize pool of $10,000. Through updates and limited-time events, Somnis: Rumble Rush aims to maintain a steady level of player interest and participation in both competitive and casual game modes.

With the introduction of new campaign content, increased battle pass incentives, and strategic balancing updates, the game continues to build on its core mechanics while refining the web3 gaming experience for its community.
