Today has announced the upcoming closed playtest of their latest prototype, titled "Luma's Call," scheduled to begin on August 26th. This marks the fourth in a series of closed tests, featuring new gameplay elements and significant advancements in the game's development. Luma's Call represents a notable step forward in Today’s development process. The playtest will introduce several new features and improvements, including:

• Dreamia AI Engine: One of the central features of this playtest is the introduction of Dreamia, Today’s proprietary AI engine. This technology enables NPCs to have long-term memory and contextual awareness, which aims to enhance player interactions within the game.
• Expanded Exploration: Players will have the opportunity to explore ten new biomes, each populated with new flora, fauna, and additional secrets to discover.
• New Character Designs: The playtest will showcase new character designs developed by teams previously involved in projects like Avatar and Love, Death & Robots. These characters are intended to be more interactive and align with the final vision of the game.
• Gameplay Enhancements: Based on feedback from previous playtests, Today has implemented several refinements to the core gameplay mechanics. Specific details on these improvements will be revealed during the playtest.
