Liithos Goes Bananas: Leans On AI to Make World’s Dumbest Game

A new transmedia property, No One Is Safe (NOIS), is set to launch, bringing a fresh blend of humor, gaming, and AI satire to the entertainment landscape. Developed by Liithos, a video game studio founded by Michael Mumbauer—known for his work on The Last of Us and Uncharted—the project includes an engaging game, a comic series, and a set of unique trading cards.

At its core is RantCPU, a mischievous chatbot and the world’s first AI video game mascot, designed to shift the narrative around AI from menacing to humorous and endearing. NOIS aims to create a cohesive and interactive experience that appeals to a wide audience, leveraging a team of industry veterans and creative talents to bring this innovative vision to life.

Satirical Approach to AI

At the core of NOIS is RantCPU, a mischievous chatbot and the world’s first AI video game mascot. RantCPU aims to shift the narrative around AI from a menacing presence to a humorous and endearing character. Described as a mix of Clippy, Bart Simpson, and Mario, RantCPU offers a childlike perspective on the world, often making humorous mistakes.

This character is central to Michael Mumbauer’s vision of using humor and satire to engage traditional gamers and provoke thought around the growing popularity of AI, web3, blockchain gaming, and the digital age. Michael shared an exclusive quote with us at GAM3S.GG, he commented:

“RantCPU embodies a blend of Clippy, Bart Simpson, and Mario—a wise-cracking, imaginative internet troll. With a focus on adaptability, we will leverage our expertise in AI, web3, and rapid content creation to stay ahead of trends. We believe that humor, memes, and laughter are vital to engaging today's gamers and creating a conversation around the gaming experience.”

Multimedia Experience

The NOIS franchise integrates various media forms to create a cohesive narrative. From retro games and viral TikTok videos to digital and physical trading cards and comics, NOIS aims to build a thriving community across gaming and social media platforms.

The launch begins on July 23rd with Clickbait, a quirky casual clicker game available on Steam. Clickbait serves as both entertainment and a marketing tool, featuring a unique set of NOIS trading cards that parody iconic celebrities, athletes, and politicians.

Additionally, RantCPU trading cards, featuring figures like Lionel Messi, Conor McGregor, and Mike Tyson, are distributed by sports card leader Leaf. Digital versions of these cards are available on the Quidd marketplace. Later in the year, the RantCPU comic book, published by Scout Comics, is expected to be released, expanding the NOIS universe.

Community and Cultural Impact

Mumbauer has assembled a diverse team of industry veterans and creative talents. The team includes Adam Clegg (H1Z1), comedian Joe Machi (Last Comic Standing), former TMZ personality Gary Trock, AI influencer Elliot Quartz, cartoonist and painter Court Jones, and writer Ken Kristensen (Echo, Todd the Ugliest Kid on Earth).

Liithos wants to build a strong community around NOIS, using humor and satire to engage with audiences and create a memorable cultural icon in RantCPU. By integrating gaming, social media, and collectible trading cards, NOIS aims to offer a unique and interactive experience that appeals to today’s digital-savvy audience.

With a focus on adaptability and rapid content creation, Liithos plans to stay ahead of entertainment trends, ensuring that NOIS remains relevant and engaging. As the franchise grows, it aims to offer a fresh and humorous perspective on AI and the complexities of the modern world.

With RantCPU, a mischievous chatbot, at its center, Liithos aims to create a relatable character across various platforms, including the clicker game Clickbait on Steam, a forthcoming comic series, and collectible trading cards.

As NOIS expands, Liithos focuses on community building and staying current with entertainment trends through adaptable and rapid content creation. This project aims to provide a unique and thoughtful perspective on AI and the digital age, establishing NOIS as a notable presence in digital entertainment.
