Lego Fortnite Ninjago Update Adds Skins

Fortnite is expanding its Lego-themed content with a Ninjago update in Lego Fortnite Odyssey, arriving this Thursday. For the first time, Epic Games will introduce Fortnite skins based on preexisting Lego characters, including Kai, Cole, Zane, and Jay from the Ninjago TV series. Unlike traditional Lego skins, these new versions depict the characters in a human style, bringing a fresh look to the Fortnite universe.

Kai Leads the New Lego Pass

Kai will be the centerpiece of the upcoming Lego Pass. Players can unlock both the Lego and Fortnite versions of Kai by purchasing the pass for 1,400 V-Bucks or through Fortnite Crew. Progressing through the pass using XP earned in any Fortnite mode will unlock a series of Ninjago-themed builds. These builds can be placed within Lego Fortnite Odyssey or on home lots in Lego Fortnite Brick Life, allowing players to customize their environments with the new content.

Ninjago Characters Available in the Item Shop

The other Ninjago characters, Cole, Zane, and Jay, will be available in the Fortnite item shop starting Thursday. They can be purchased individually or as part of a bundle that includes all three characters along with their accessories. While Lloyd and Nya are not part of this update, Epic Games has hinted at a potential Ninjago expansion in 2026, leaving the possibility for their inclusion in future updates.

Fortnite’s December Update and Year-End Content

This update arrives shortly after the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 and the new music pass. The December 11 update is expected to include the final major additions to Epic Games’ metaverse for 2025. Alongside the Lego Ninjago content, players can expect Fortnite OG Season 7 content, a Playboi Carti activation, and the Winterfest celebration, which is likely to include free seasonal skins.

Where to Get Lego Fortnite Ninjago Content

The update will be available on all supported platforms, including PS5. The game and associated Lego Ninjago content can be purchased for $120 through Amazon.
