Kreation Verse, a Japanese-American mobile game developer, announced the U.S. launch of their new anime-style card fighter, TAT Rumble, on June 6th, 2024.
Available on both iOS and Android platforms, TAT Rumble marks the studio's debut title. The game will initially release in the United States, with plans for a global rollout to follow.
Kreation Verse Launching TAT Rumble
Founded three years ago by CEO Tomoya Ogawa and game director Karin, Kreation Verse has gained recognition for developing and operating the popular Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle mobile title. TAT Rumble builds on their experience, blending anime aesthetics, 90s pixel art, and fighting game mechanics into a unique collectible card game.
“This is mostly a web2 free-to-play mobile game. And then you can get the NFT conversion item. And then, you can convert your characters into NFTs,” explained Ogawa in a recent interview. “There’s the character creation, development, and battle. And then on top of that, there’s an NFT cycle.”
TAT Rumble Characters and Art
Set against the backdrop of a global martial arts tournament known as the "Twelve Anonymous Tournament," TAT Rumble invites players to engage in strategic combat using a diverse array of collectible cards. The game's characters, drawn and animated by renowned artist Tatsuro Iwamoto of Capcom's Ace Attorney fame, add a distinct visual flair to the proceedings.
Set in a no-rules martial arts tournament, TAT Rumble features 12 legendary fighters known as TAT Masters. The game's characters are designed and animated by Tatsuro Iwamoto, renowned for his work on Capcom's Ace Attorney series. Players can collect and convert these characters into NFTs, adding a modern twist to the classic gameplay.
TAT Rumble: Gameplay, Art, and CEO Tomoya Ogawa
Tomoya Ogawa, CEO of Kreation Verse, shared insights into the game's genesis and its ambitious vision. "Our goal is to bridge the gap between Japanese creators and the global gaming community," he explained. "With TAT Rumble, we aim to offer a captivating experience that transcends cultural boundaries, while also exploring the potential of NFTs as a new avenue for digital IP."
TAT Rumble also incorporates gacha mechanics for daily rewards and collectible art. Another highlight is the integration of Martial Byte, a technology from Rufus Inc. that allows players to download and master the techniques of the 12 different fighters.
The game is designed with mobile-friendly controls, offering quick and intense matches suitable for players of all skill levels. For more information on TAT Rumble, visit the official website and follow the game on X.
