Kratos Gaming Network (KGeN), a web3 gaming community-based in India, formerly known as IndiGG, has kicked off an extensive educational campaign focused on blockchain gaming, particularly targeting students and young gamers across the nation.
The campaign aims to span over 6 months and covers key cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Indore, and Kolkata, as well as other tier 1, 2, and 3 cities, to raise awareness about the potential of web3 gaming. In this article, we will cover how the 6-month educational campaign across India aims to educate students and young gamers in the region.
The initiative aims to highlight the myriad benefits of web3 gaming, positioning it as not only a recreational activity but also as a pathway to future career opportunities and personal development. One of the central themes of the campaign is to showcase gaming as an alternate source of income, especially for young individuals. Through student meetups, participants will have the opportunity to share their stories of how gaming has enabled them to contribute to their families' income.
In addition to these meetups, the campaign will feature college competitions and roundtable discussions involving key stakeholders such as educators and psychologists. These discussions will delve into the future of gaming and blockchain technology, aiming to provide valuable insights into the industry's evolution and its potential impact on society.
Kratos Gaming Network (KGeN) is also actively developing an ecosystem of global gamer data, with a focus on data ownership for gamers. Their Proof of Gamer (PoG) engine enables users to build, own, and monetize their data, while also providing game publishers with access to targeted gamer cohorts for engagement purposes. Kratos Gaming Network encourages interested individuals to learn more about its initiatives and mission through its website.
Commenting on the initiative, Ishank Gupta, Elder Member Council at Kratos Gaming Network, emphasized the revolutionary potential of data ownership for gamers, stating:Â
"Data ownership for gamers will be a game changer for the industry. With this national campaign, we intend to empower gamers and make them aware of the new opportunities and possibilities. We're talking about a fundamental shift in the way we interact with technology, with users taking ownership of their data and shaping the future of the digital world."
