Bringing AI to Gamers

Kinetix's technology, integrated into Overdare, enables players to transform videos into emotes. This means gamers can bring viral TikTok trends, iconic movie moments, or their own recordings into the game, creating personalized emotes that reflect their unique personalities.

This innovation significantly enhances user engagement by moving beyond traditional customization options, giving players a new way to express themselves within the gaming community. As UGC becomes a defining trend in gaming, platforms like Roblox and Fortnite have democratized game creation.

More about Kinetix?

Kinetix was founded in 2020 by Yassine Tahi and Henri Mirande. The company aims to drive self-expression in video games with AI-powered emotes. The Paris-based startup has raised $12.5 million in seed funding and boasts a team of over 40 experts recognized as "one of the hottest startups" by Wired.

User-Generated Content

The majority of UGC has involved recombining existing assets, limiting creativity. Kinetix's AI technology empowers gamers to create new animations, turning them into active creators and driving an era where gamers lead in content creation. Yassine Tahi, CEO of Kinetix, emphasized the transformative nature of this feature, stating:

“This is more than just an innovative feature. It’s a transformative approach to gaming. Our technology allows players to generate and customize emotes on the fly, bringing a new level of personalization and social interaction to the gaming community. We’re excited to see how players in Overdare will use these tools and are eager to expand these capabilities to more games in the future.”
