Abstract Games is set to launch a community-wide competition beginning on May 5. The event will span five days, ending on May 9, and will feature a series of daily challenges developed by RekTech. Participation is limited to wallets holding an official Entry Ticket, making the ticket a key requirement for anyone looking to compete.

Each day from Monday to Thursday, participants will engage in one of four mini-games. Each game starts at 12pm EST and runs for a full 24 hours. The format and details of each game will be announced on the day of play, encouraging ticket holders to stay actively engaged throughout the event period.

About Abstract Games

The Entry Ticket serves as the sole means of access to Abstract Games. Tickets became available for minting on Friday, April 25 at 12pm EST and remained open until Monday, May 5 at 11:00am EST. The price per ticket was 0.012 ETH, which is approximately $20 at the time of minting. Each wallet is allowed to hold and use only one ticket during the event. However, individuals can mint multiple tickets if they assign each one to a different wallet.

Tickets are transferrable through the Abstract Portal but are not available for secondary market trading. Secondary sales have been intentionally disabled to prevent speculation and maintain a fair environment for all players. It is important to note that the Entry Ticket does not carry any utility or value beyond the event window. It is valid strictly from May 5 through May 9. After the event ends, the ticket no longer provides access to games or rewards.

Competition Format and Leaderboard Tracking

Abstract Games features a progressive format in which each mini-game contributes to a participant's position on the overall leaderboard. At the conclusion of the fourth and final game on Friday, the top 100 players on the leaderboard will become eligible for prizes. The prize pool includes a range of digital assets such as Abstract NFTs, memecoins, XP, USDC, and digital badges.

Each ticket sale increases the overall prize pool, incentivizing broader participation. Leaderboard standings can be monitored through the RekTech gaming portal. To take part in the games and track their progress, players must log in to the portal and link the wallet that holds their Entry Ticket. This ensures that only valid ticket holders can participate and claim any potential rewards.

Community Access and Event Communication

In addition to access to the competition, Entry Ticket holders will receive token-gated entry to the Players Channel in the Abstract Discord server. This channel becomes available starting the day of mint and serves as the central hub for player coordination and discussion.

An Announcement channel will also be active, offering public updates and links related to the games. All official communication, including daily game announcements and leaderboard updates, will be conducted through these designated channels. Participants are encouraged to follow these updates closely to stay informed throughout the event.

Prize Distribution and Future Involvement

After the event concludes, the wallets associated with the top 100 players will be recorded for prize distribution. There is no additional action required from participants to claim rewards, as distribution will be based directly on leaderboard rankings.

While the structure for this edition of Abstract Games is already finalized, the organizing team has expressed interest in including additional games or partners in future events.
