The blockchain-based mobile game IN-Match 3 has launched its first-ever land event, Expedition #1, giving players the opportunity to become founding landowners within its game world. Running from May 23 through June 10, this limited-time event enables participants to discover and claim digital islands, known as Omniums, by using special NFT scanning tools. The event marks a key moment in the game’s development, particularly for those interested in web3 gaming and digital land ownership.

IN-Match 3 is a mobile MMORPG that blends match-3 puzzle mechanics with role-playing elements. Available on both iOS and Android platforms, the game features combat on a 5x8 gem board, city-building mechanics, hero progression, and multiplayer interactions such as PvP arenas and world boss battles. Players match tiles to deal damage, heal allies, or activate skills, while upgrading characters and gathering resources for crafting and trading.
The game incorporates blockchain technology through a digital economy that includes NFTs and its in-game currency, $TIN. This currency can be earned through gameplay or purchased and is used to unlock premium features, such as rare characters, resource chests, and marketplace items including Prismars and Omniums.

Expedition #1 is a land-discovery event embedded within IN-Match 3’s puzzle RPG framework. During the event, players use Prismars—NFT-based scanners—to explore and reveal different types of digital lands. These lands, known as Omniums, exist as NFTs and are designed with in-game utility and future value in mind. Each Omnium can be upgraded, generate daily resources. Players can also combine multiple lands to form larger territories or guild-controlled zones.
Getting started is accessible to most players, as a Prismar costs $1.50 and provides a 5 percent chance of revealing a stable Omnium island. Players who wish to improve their odds can use a Prismar-CORE, which increases the discovery rate to 35 percent and can be unlocked through a Diamond NFT. The scanning process involves logging in with an Immutable Passport, activating the NFT from the player’s web3 inventory, and launching scans from a specific in-game location. Players can conduct unlimited scans, with more launches increasing the chances of discovery.

There are four distinct types of Omniums that players may discover during Expedition #1, each with varying rarity levels. Fractal islands are the most common, making up 80 percent of discoveries. Tessera islands account for 18 percent, while Astralions appear at a rate of 1.9 percent. The rarest land, the Chronosphere, has a 0.1 percent drop rate. The event also features a guaranteed 3:1 upgrade system, allowing players to combine three lower-tier islands into one of the next higher tier. This system enables gradual progression for players who may not uncover rare lands initially.
One of the most notable features of Expedition #1 is its temporary drop rate bonuses. For every 10,000 scanner activations during the event, a universal drop rate boost of 5 percent is applied to all players, with a maximum possible bonus of 50 percent. This mechanism encourages community participation and rewards early adopters with better odds of securing higher-value lands.
Players who participate in Expedition #1 before June 10 stand to benefit significantly. After the event ends, future land discovery will occur with much lower base probabilities or may require purchasing Omniums on secondary marketplaces. Additionally, the top 10 scanner participants are guaranteed to receive a Chronosphere, further incentivizing consistent engagement throughout the event.

IN-Match 3’s Expedition #1 represents a notable development in the integration of web3 elements into mobile gaming. The event offers players a low-cost opportunity to participate in the game’s expanding digital ecosystem by acquiring land NFTs with future gameplay and market potential. With the event set to conclude on June 10, interested players are encouraged to participate while drop rate bonuses and exclusive rewards remain active.
