Illuvium, a game studio founded by three brothers from Sydney, Australia, will launch three web3 games—Illuvium: Overworld, Illuvium: Arena, and Illuvium: Zero—on July 25. Kieran Warwick, CEO of Illuvium, explained that the initial plan was to create a single game. However, due to differing creative visions among the founding brothers, the project expanded into three distinct titles. “Our original intention was to build one title, but being brothers and highly competitive, we couldn’t agree on the genre and ended up building three games in different genres. We’ve probably wiped a collective 30 years off our lifespan, so we hope it’s worth it.”
