The game begins with players awakening from cryosleep on an alien planet, where they must quickly adapt to their surroundings. Guided by a drone companion, players gather resources, repair their ship, and prepare to explore the planet. The narrative sets the stage for an ongoing adventure as players uncover the planet’s secrets and face various challenges.

One of Illuvium’s standout features is the interoperability of assets across its games. Players can use their Illuvials, cosmetics, and other assets in any of the three titles, fostering a cohesive gaming ecosystem. All games are free to play, with optional paid elements, aiming to build a loyal player base through compelling gameplay and immersive experiences.
