Dante Games has officially launched its first tournament under the Hellmaster Tournament Series. Titled Tournament I: Open Arena, the competition is live from August 5 to August 9, 6 PM UTC, and offers a $10,000 prize pool. This event marks the beginning of a multi-stage tournament series celebrating the recent launch of the $DANTE token, with a total of up to $100,000 in rewards planned across all four stages.

The tournament is open to all players without any entry fee, aligning with the company’s goal to attract new participants during the token generation event (TGE) period. Players can earn leaderboard points by participating in two game modes - Adventure Mode and Battle Arena - within Dante Games’ flagship title, Hellmaster: The Legend of Dante.

The top 1,500 players based on their total points will receive a share of the prize pool, with first place awarded $1,000, second place $700, and third place $500. Winners will also receive Shards, the in-game currency that can be used to redeem NFT card packs. These rewards are set to be distributed following the conclusion of the entire tournament series, to ensure proper verification and alignment with the broader TGE ecosystem.

Hellmaster: The Legend of Dante On Epic Games

Anyone interested in joining Tournament I: Open Arena can participate by downloading Hellmaster: The Legend of Dante, available on PC through the Epic Games Store, Ultra, and the Elixir Games launcher. Android users can access the mobile version via the Google Play Store. There is no separate registration process, as participation is automatic upon playing the game during the tournament period.

Hellmaster is a free-to-play, turn-based card game built on Immutable zkEVM. It combines strategic card battles with fantasy themes inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Players choose from 15 different heroes across five classes, each featuring unique abilities and compatible spells and runes. The choice of hero influences deck-building strategies and overall gameplay style.

Adventure Mode and Victories in Battle Arena

Leaderboard points are earned through two game modes. In Adventure Mode, players take on a PvE journey through nine levels, each inspired by a circle of hell. Winning in this mode grants 1,000 leaderboard points, while losses result in a deduction of 500 points. In Battle Arena, players engage in PvP matches using the game’s premium in-game currency, Souls, which can be purchased using the $DANTE token.

Victories in Battle Arena offer 2,000 leaderboard points, while defeats also result in a 500-point deduction. Only public PvP matches count toward leaderboard rankings. Players can play more than 15 matches per day, but only the first 15 matches within each daily cycle contribute to their tournament score. The daily reset takes place at 6 PM UTC.

Tournament I: Open Arena Key Dates

Tournament I: Open Arena is the first of four planned events in the Hellmaster Tournament Series. Following its conclusion on August 9, the next stage, titled Holder’s Trials, will run from August 13 to August 17 and will be limited to $DANTE token holders and stakers. This will be followed by League of the Eternals, taking place from August 21 to August 25 under the same eligibility requirements. A potential final event, Final Ascension, is scheduled to begin on August 29 and run through September 2, but it will only be activated if there are more than 9,000 eligible holders.

The tournament series was initially scheduled to begin on July 29 but was postponed to August 5. This adjustment allowed Dante Games to coordinate platform releases and introduce updates and improvements aligned with the series, including the inclusion of the Epic Games Store version from the outset.

Future Plans

Dante Games is a web3 gaming ecosystem that integrates artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and competitive gameplay. The company focuses on developing strategic, esports-ready titles where players can earn digital assets through gameplay. Its first title, Hellmaster: The Legend of Dante, is available now and supports play-to-earn features through in-game rewards such as Shards and NFT card packs.

In July 2025, Dante Games secured a $20 million investment ahead of the $DANTE token launch. Looking forward, the company has plans to expand its game library with Eternal Fighters and Infernal Bastions. Both titles are expected to begin pre-production in early 2026, with demo releases planned for the second quarter of the same year. In the meantime, Dante Games aims to introduce more esports features, expand token utility, and continue growing its player base through competitive events like the Hellmaster Tournament Series.
