Gresini Racing, in collaboration with MotoGP Guru and SPORTPASS, has revealed a new sponsorship initiative, offering MotoGP fans exclusive perks previously reserved for corporate sponsors. In this article, we will cover how fans can now become sponsors and enjoy VIP experiences.

Fan-Powered Sponsorship Program

Gresini Racing, a leading MotoGP team, has joined forces with MotoGP Guru and SPORTPASS to launch the first-ever fan-powered sponsorship program. This initiative allows MotoGP enthusiasts to purchase an exclusive personal team sponsorship package for €125, granting them access to a range of benefits typically reserved for corporate sponsors.

"By giving fans the unprecedented opportunity to become sponsors, engage with one of the top MotoGP teams and riders, and enjoy exclusive benefits typically reserved for large corporations, we're democratizing access to motorsport sponsorships," said Will Griffiths, General Manager of the Motorverse. "Leveraging blockchain and digital property rights will transform fan engagement to create a more inclusive and interactive motorsport community."

VIP Paddock Experiences 

These benefits include VIP Paddock Experiences at the 2024 Grands Prix, name placement on the team's bikes and websites, invitations to exclusive events, Zoom calls with team members, special custom merchandise, and the opportunity to win a Ducati Panigale V4S, an official test bike used by Marc Marquez.

Gresini Racing's recent acquisition of eight-time world champion Marc Marquez has heightened anticipation surrounding the team's performance in the 2024 MotoGP World Championship. Carlo Merlini, Commercial & Marketing Director of Gresini Racing, expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, stating:

MotoGP Guru Racing '24 Mobile Game

The initiative is made possible through the collaboration of SPORTPASS and MotoGP Guru, both of which have strong ties to the world of motorsports. MotoGP Guru, a major sponsor of Gresini Racing since 2023, produces the official MotoGP Prediction Game and the MotoGP Guru Racing '24 mobile game, while SPORTPASS is a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, focusing on fan engagement and gaming platforms.
