Gods Unchained has released a new game patch on May 30, 2023, with a significant change to card destruction. Check out other updates, fixes and removal of cardboard live support.
The Gods Unchained team has announced a significant game update on May 30th, 2023. This patch includes a crucial change to card destruction and several fixes aimed at improving the overall gaming experience.
In the past, a destroyed card would remain on the board in a "destroyed" state until all other effects were concluded. This mechanism caused several implementation issues, including cards having to delay their effects until the destroyed creature was removed.
To address this, the new patch modifies this mechanism. Now, when a card is destroyed, it is immediately moved to the void. This change applies to all cards that destroy a creature or relic on the board but does not affect how damage or combat destroys cards. Only cards with the "destroy" keyword are affected.
The game's cardboard integration is no longer supported. On top of that, as usual, the new patch brings several fixes to improve gameplay:
