Underground Pepe is designed specifically for Telegram and aligns closely with its collectible ecosystem, offering an experience built around user engagement and asset utility.

Underground Pepe is centered on the Plush Pepes, a collection of 3,000 animated sticker collectibles on Telegram. These are digital assets built using the TIP-4 standard on the TON blockchain, often referred to as Telegram’s version of NFTs. Originally launched at a price of $30, Plush Pepes have seen significant market appreciation, with the current floor price reaching $10,519. This has resulted in notable returns for early holders and reinforced interest in Telegram’s growing collectibles market.

GOAT Gaming integrates these assets directly into gameplay. Players hire characters, flip NFTs, and collect Telegram-native assets while progressing through the game. Among the notable rewards are Durov’s Cap NFTs, currently valued at $2,000, along with cryptocurrency rewards like USDT, GOAT Gaming’s CROWNS token, and physical items such as iPads. Supporting this reward system is GOAT Gaming’s AI agent, Amy, which distributes player rewards and enhances the interactive experience. Davis also compared the current evolution of Telegram in gaming to the rise of Facebook in 2008. He stated that while Facebook helped launch viral social games more than a decade ago, Telegram is now playing a similar role in the web3 era, where digital ownership, asset trading, and community-driven mechanics define the gaming experience.
