GameOn, the web3 fantasy sports platform, has secured grant funding from The Arbitrum Foundation. This strategic partnership is set to position GameOn at the forefront of the web3 gaming landscape, with major league collaborations, including LALIGA and PFL, slated for debut on the Arbitrum One network. GameOn, known for its innovative approach to engaging sports audiences, has established alliances with prominent sports, media, and entertainment entities. With a team comprising industry veterans from Take-Two Interactive, Twitch, and EA, GameOn has already formed partnerships with NBCUniversal, Bravo, Karate Combat, the WNBA, and more.

Arbitrum is one of the leading Layer 2 scaling solutions for Ethereum, boasting an impressive Total Value Locked (TVL) of $7.54 billion, representing 54% market share across all Layer 2 networks. Recent milestones, including surpassing Ethereum daily transactions, underscore Arbitrum's dominance in the blockchain space.

Matt Bailey, GameOn's CEO, expressed optimism, stating, "Today's news is strong backing from yet another industry leader. We're surrounded by world-class partners, giving GameOn the firepower to sign leagues, launch games, and fuel growth rapidly."

The Arbitrum Foundation has a mission to support and grow the Arbitrum network and its community while remaining at the forefront of blockchain adoption. Separate from the Foundation grant program, Arbitrum DAO (the token holders governing the blockchain) periodically launches large-scale grant initiatives such as the recent short-term incentive program of 50 million ARB tokens. GameOn intends to participate in such initiatives.

Nina Rong, Head of Ecosystem Development, commented "We're happy to support GameOn as they lead mass adoption in web3. We look forward to their innovations, pushing the boundaries of web3 fantasy sports."

As GameOn prepares for major league collaborations on the Arbitrum One network, the partnership with The Arbitrum Foundation marks a significant milestone. Stay tuned as GameOn continues to shape the landscape of fantasy sports in the digital age.
