Our eagerly awaited GAM3 Awards, a significant event in the world of web3 gaming, is set to make a triumphant return this December 2023. We are excited to present our diverse and esteemed panel of judges, which includes familiar faces from 2022 and introduces new voices that represent various aspects of web3 gaming. The recent additions are especially noteworthy, as they encompass prominent figures from web3 gaming venture capital firms, experts in blockchain and ecosystem development, infrastructure partners, content creators, as well as established leaders in the gaming industry and tech giants like Amazon and Google.

We are proud to introduce one of our jury members, Itai Elizur. Itai has spent the past decade helping enterprises and startups to develop and execute marketing and growth strategies in the digital space. Itai is the COO and Managing Partner at MarketAcross, the industry's leading PR and Marketing agency, and has managed marketing and PR campaigns for ventures like Binance, Etoro, TRON, Cardano, Polkadot, and many more.

1. What is the most enjoyable part of your role?

“Meeting countless founders from all walks of life who want to enter the space. It's still amazing to see how many people believe in the long-term vision of web3, and are actively building even in "bear" conditions.”

2. How do you see the progress made in web3 gaming since last year?

“I think we understand that the core needs to be engaging fun games, and not just flashy token/nft economics. Without real players actually playing, there is no real value of any assets.”

3. What is the most valuable addition web3 brings into gaming, from your perspective, if any?

“Gaming seems like one of the most natural places for web3 to find its next wave of early adapters. Years of building internal economies and user bases that now have the option to own parts as well as shape the direction of the games they love.”

4. What is your outlook on 2024 and beyond for web3 gaming?

“I think more exciting web2 games will infuse web3 in a "opt in" version to their users. I don't believe that mass adoption will come only from web3 first games, but mainly from existing successful games.”
