Our GAM3 Awards, a significant event within the web3 gaming realm, is scheduled to make a comeback this December 2023. The event's panel of judges comprises a mix of familiar individuals from the previous year and fresh representatives hailing from diverse sectors of web3 gaming. This year's notable additions encompass personalities from web3 gaming venture capital firms, blockchain and ecosystem specialists, infrastructure partners, content creators, as well as well-established figures in the gaming industry and tech giants such as Amazon and Google.
We are proud to introduce one of our jury members Gaspode. Also known as @GaspodeWD or Felix, he started content creation roughly 2 years ago. Felix focuses on introducing new games to the community, regardless of size and development phase. At this point, he has introduced well over 200 games across various platforms. He also had a period working as the Marketing and Relationship Manager for a web3 game, enjoying seeing the other side of the curtain.
1. What is the most enjoyable part of your role?
“Finding new games that I can play.”
2. How do you see the progress made in web3 gaming since last year?
“When I started introducing games most were just high level concepts, now I struggle to play all the games with a playable build.”
3. What is the most valuable addition web3 brings into gaming, from your perspective, if any?
“Proof of achievements, proof of gamer, trading and realistic interoperability.”
4. What is your outlook on 2024 and beyond for web3 gaming?
“I am really positive. I don't see web3 gaming as the future of gaming, as it is more of a record keeping tool and hasn't introduced new game mechanics yet, but we are reaching the point when a lot of the games that have raised are hitting the release stage of their development cycle.”
