Our eagerly awaited GAM3 Awards, a significant event in the world of web3 gaming, is set to make a triumphant return this December 2023. We are excited to present our distinguished and diverse panel of judges, which includes both familiar faces from 2022 and new voices who represent various facets of the web3 gaming landscape. The latest additions are especially remarkable, as they include prominent figures from web3 gaming venture capital firms, blockchain and ecosystem experts, infrastructure partners, content creators, as well as respected leaders in the gaming industry and technology giants like Amazon and Google.

We are proud to introduce one of our jury members Carlos Roldan, CEO and Founder of Elixir.

1. What is the most enjoyable part of your role? 

“Keeping up to date with what is happening in the world of video games is exciting, but when you also have the opportunity to see hundreds of projects being born and connect with the teams behind them, it is a unique experience and definitely very enjoyable.”

2. How do you see the progress made in web3 gaming since last year?

“The video game industry is complex and when we add new technologies the processes become longer. The development times of a game that we know as AAA can take years, so I think we have a lot of good things to see.”

3. What is the most valuable addition web3 brings into gaming, from your perspective, if any?

“Just doing a search of the hundreds of thousands of accounts that have been banned, blocked or compromised we realize how the user is tired of not having control over their entertainment. Having the ability to decide when and why your purchases or interactions with games take place is unlike anything else out there.”

4. What is your outlook on 2024 and beyond for web3 gaming?

“Little by little the industry is merging in ways that all gamers are welcome to play and that is what is important, I think the advancement in user adoption that is coming this next year is going to be something to behold!”
