GAM3 Awards 2025 Nomination Process

Our GAM3 Awards 2025 will feature a refreshed jury panel of over 80 industry experts, reflecting the ever-growing diversity and innovation in web3 gaming. Returning jurors from past years will be joined by new voices from venture capital, blockchain networks, ecosystem specialists, and major tech companies including Amazon, Google, OpenSea, Oasys, and XAI. This ensures a wide-ranging perspective on the nominees, making the awards truly representative of the global web3 gaming ecosystem.

Transparent Voting Process

Our GAM3 Awards voting system balances expertise and community engagement. Jury votes determine 90% of the outcome for most categories, with the remaining 10% coming from community input. Certain categories, like the People’s Choice Award and Best Content Creator, are entirely decided by the community.

Again this year, the Games' Choice Award lets game studios vote for their favorite game, while the GAM3 Changer Award recognizes individuals making significant contributions to web3 gaming, nominated by peers in game development.

The Nomination Process

Our GAM3 Awards nomination process is simple and interactive. Here's how it works:

Phase 1: Community Nominations

The nomination phase allows anyone to nominate their favorite game or creator. If a particular game OR creator isn't already listed, participants can add them manually. This phase opens on September 22nd and runs until October 17th, after which the top 30 games and creators will be shortlisted for the next round.

Phase 2: Jury Voting Round One

Once the nominations are finalized, the jury will vote on the games and creators across various genres. This will determine the top five nominees in each category. This phase will run between October 6th and October 13th.

Phase 3: Community Nominations and Jury Voting Round Two

During this phase, running from October 20th and November 17th, both the jury and the community will vote for their favorite nominees among the top five in each category. The People's Choice Award and Best Content Creator categories will rely entirely on community votes, while the other categories will incorporate both jury and community input.

As an exciting addition, by participating in the nomination or voting process, fans will have the chance to win prizes such as gaming consoles, PCs, and more, making this year’s GAM3 Awards an event not just to watch, but to actively engage in.

The winners will be announced live on November 21st, 2025, both online and in person at the YGG Play Summit in Manila, Philippines.
