Transparent Voting Process

The voting process for the GAM3 Awards has been carefully designed to ensure a fair and transparent outcome. The jury's votes will contribute 90% of the final decision for most categories, while the remaining 10% will come from community votes. However, for the People’s Choice Award and Best Content Creator, the community will have full control, with 100% of the vote coming from fans. 

Additionally, the “Games' Choice Award” will give game studios the opportunity to vote for their top game of the year, adding another layer of industry involvement. This structure aims to create a balanced approach, combining expert opinions with community feedback to celebrate the standout achievements in web3 gaming. Lastly, the “GAM3 Changer” award will be given to an outstanding individual working on a web3 game - nominated by a game studio’s team members.

GAM3 Awards Nomination Process

The nomination process for the GAM3 Awards consists of three phases:

  1. Phase 1: Nominations open, allowing the community to nominate games and creators. If a game or creator is not listed, they can be added manually.
  2. Phase 2: Voting begins, with the jury casting their votes across various categories, narrowing the nominees to the top five in each category.
  3. Phase 3: Voting opens to the public and the jury for the final selection, with community-exclusive voting for the People’s Choice and Best Content Creator categories.
