Forgotten Runiverse is a free-to-play, pixel art MMORPG built on the Ronin blockchain. Inspired by the lore of the Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult, the game combines a narrative-driven fantasy world with on-chain ownership. Players can level up characters, craft gear, complete dungeons, fight in PvP battles, and form guilds.
Running from August 25 to September 8, the event gives every guild an equal starting point through a leaderboard reset. From there, each team must earn Renown, risk it in combat, and convert it into Glory in order to climb the rankings. Only the top eight guilds will share the prize pool, making each decision throughout the event critical.

The Glory and Renown Guild Event features a 2.5 million $PIXEL prize pool to be distributed among the top eight guilds at the event’s conclusion. From August 25 until September 8, all guilds start from a reset leaderboard and must earn their way to the top through a system based on Renown and Glory.
Renown can be gained through several in-game activities, including leveling characters, completing Omen dungeons, crafting tier 4 items, achieving Quanta milestones, and winning standard PvP battles. This accumulation forms the basis of a guild’s strength during the event.

Glory is obtained exclusively through guild versus guild combat. When a guild wins, it claims Glory equal to the Renown lost by its defeated opponent. If the losing guild has no Renown available, no Glory is awarded. This mechanic introduces an element of risk, as guilds must decide when to safeguard their Renown and when to challenge others for a chance to advance. By the end of the event, the guilds that balance steady Renown progression with well-timed victories will secure positions on the leaderboard and a share of the prize pool.
Preparation and teamwork will play decisive roles in determining which guilds succeed. Larger battles, such as four versus four encounters, provide greater rewards than smaller skirmishes. For PvP matches to count toward the event, all party members must belong to the same guild, which prevents outside assistance and ensures results reflect true guild strength.
Additional factors, such as leveling up the guild and applying boosts, can further increase the rate of Renown accumulation. Together, these mechanics reward groups that plan ahead, coordinate effectively, and approach each confrontation with a clear strategy.
