Endless Clouds has announced a pivotal partnership with Immutable, marking a significant step in the studio's future. This collaboration is set to launch Endless Clouds' highly anticipated games, Treeverse and Capsule Heroes, on Immutable's zkEVM chain, powered by Polygon, with a mainnet launch projected for early 2024.
This partnership will see the integration of Treeverse, an engaging MMORPG set in the mystical city of Lorwick, and Capsule Heroes, a PvP brawler with diverse game modes, onto Immutable's zkEVM chain. This integration aligns with Endless Clouds' vision to bring digital ownership to gamers through quality gaming experiences and seamless blockchain integration.
One of the key features of this partnership is the utilization of Immutable Passport, a single sign-on solution designed to simplify on-chain gaming. This innovative technology will significantly ease the management of digital assets and gamer identities, offering a frictionless experience for both new and seasoned players.
Loopify, a key figure within the web3 gaming scene and crypto industry overall, emphasized the importance of this partnership in solving technical challenges related to blockchain integration. This allows the Endless Clouds team to concentrate on game production, ensuring the delivery of high-quality gaming experiences.
Endless Clouds assures players that their existing assets in the three main collections (Nftrees, Plots, Timeless) will remain on Ethereum, with no immediate action required from players. This clarity is crucial in preventing any potential scams.
The decision to partner with Immutable was driven by various factors, including technical solutions, production assistance, and the ability to delegate certain tasks. Immutable’s platform was chosen for its ability to best meet the specific needs of Endless Clouds, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
It has always been a mystery where will Loopify's games land, but today's announcement makes it clear on where the studio is headed and where it wants to go with their portfolio of games. The partnership will not alter the fundamental game design of either Treeverse or Capsule Heroes. Instead, it will add a layer of web3 integration, making the experience more seamless and enjoyable for players.
