The project is supported by the Avalanche Foundation and launched its own L1 mainnet earlier this year on Avalanche’s high-performance blockchain. Open Beta Season 1 and Artery L1 Chain

Open Beta Season 1 introduces several changes and additions aimed at improving gameplay and stability. AL NFTs are now fully integrated on the Artery L1 chain, with each NFT featuring a Passive Skill that activates automatically during idle battles. These skills vary based on the NFT’s body type, with 16 different types offering bonuses such as gradual HP regeneration or increased defense against boss-level enemies.

An alpha version of the Artery Marketplace is scheduled to launch, enabling users to trade AL NFTs using $ARTERY or bridged $AVAX tokens. Currently, OpenSea trading is temporarily paused until the marketplace becomes available. Gameplay adjustments include reducing the duration of EXP and Spore Boosters from 24 hours to 12 hours. The development team has also optimized server performance, reduced memory usage, and addressed out-of-memory crashes to provide a more stable gaming experience.

Season 1 introduces two prize pool systems. The currently active system is the leaderboard, where players with the highest Combat Power can earn a share of the 30 million $ARTERY token prize pool. A secondary system, which involves passive in-game token drops, will be activated following the $ARTERY token generation event (TGE).

Memoria: Chronicles Idle is a browser-based 2D idle game that is free to play and accessible to anyone with a crypto wallet on the Artery Chain. Supported wallets include MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect. Players begin by connecting their wallet and accessing their profile, then navigating to the “Game” section to launch Chronicles Idle.

The game progresses through stages in which the player’s character automatically engages in idle battles against 2D monsters. Players can occasionally activate a special ability to deal additional damage during combat. Defeating enemies earns Spores, which can be used to upgrade equipment and increase character stats, thereby enhancing Combat Power. Higher Combat Power improves leaderboard ranking, which determines eligibility for a share of the $ARTERY prize pool. Spores are earned both through active play and passively while away from the game, allowing players to progress even when not actively engaged.

Season 1 of the open beta began on August 27, and no official end date has been announced. Players can monitor leaderboard standings on the Memory Grid page of the game’s website. The number of participants who will receive a share of the prize pool has not yet been disclosed.
