Duper, the social war game built on Abstract Chain, has officially launched Season 5. Running from May 27 through July 28, the new season introduces a range of updates designed to improve accessibility and player engagement. Central to the season’s launch is a free cash airdrop, available to both new players and those who were inactive during Season 4. The developers have also announced that the mobile version of the game will go live during this season, with availability planned for Android and iOS platforms.
One of the key updates in Season 5 is the availability of Casual mode 24 hours a day, allowing players to join matches at any time by wagering as little as $1. Matchmaking has been updated to allow players to join during recommended time windows, which are now available on the official website. These adjustments are intended to reduce wait times and increase the frequency of gameplay. In addition, friendly AI bots have been introduced to help fill Custom games more quickly, creating smoother experiences for those playing with real money stakes.
Duper Season 5 Offers Big Rewards
To attract new players and re-engage inactive ones, Duper is offering a free cash airdrop in the form of vouchers. Players who are new or who played fewer than three games in Season 4 will receive three 1-Chip vouchers, equal to $3, which can be used in Casual mode. These vouchers provide a no-risk opportunity to explore the game before committing real funds. Additionally, new users who complete the Playground training mode and play three Casual games can earn three more vouchers, bringing the total possible value of the free airdrop to $6. All vouchers are set to expire at the end of the season, encouraging players to make use of them within the season’s timeframe.
Season 5 introduces two season pass options—Gold and Platinum. The Gold Pass, priced at $15, offers up to $92.50 in direct rewards, excluding match earnings. It includes $15 in Chip vouchers, milestone rewards such as Gold Keys and Emblems, and access to features like loss subsidy raffles. These raffles become available after two consecutive losses in Ranked or Casual mode, providing players a chance to receive additional Chip vouchers or Sparks, the in-game currency.
The Platinum Pass, aimed at more dedicated players, is available for $80 and offers up to $248 in direct rewards. It includes all the benefits of the Gold Pass along with exclusive in-game chat stickers and a higher quantity of milestone rewards. Players who begin with the Gold Pass can upgrade to Platinum at any point during the season for an additional $65. The upgrade provides 9 5-Chip vouchers and 10 2-Chip vouchers.
To expand accessibility, the Duper development team has announced a mobile launch during Season 5. The game is expected to become available on Android and iOS devices one to two weeks after the season begins. The mobile release is aimed at allowing players to participate in matches and earn rewards while on the go, extending the game’s reach to a broader audience.
Players who wish to qualify for the Duper Bowl, which begins after Season 5 ends, must hold a season pass, reach Bronze Status, and fill their Duper Bowl balance to $160. Status is determined by XP, which can be earned through Chip deposits and entry fees for games. For example, depositing 1,000 Chips results in 1,000 XP, and entry into a Casual or Ranked game grants XP based on the number of Chips spent.
To build the Duper Bowl balance, players can contribute $100 from their in-game earnings, after which the Duper team will add a $60 match. This contribution process requires toggling the "Contribute" setting in the game, which allocates 50 percent of a player’s net earnings from each game toward the balance. Players also have the option to directly top up the balance with 160 Chips, though this amount will not be available for withdrawal.
Withdrawal options are only available for contributions between $20 and $100, and include a 20 percent fee. Once $100 has been reached, contributions are automatically paused. The Duper Bowl will start with a $3,000 prize pool, which is expected to grow as players contribute. According to the game’s official guidelines, anyone who qualifies will have a chance to win a portion of the prize pool regardless of skill level. Additional details regarding the tournament are scheduled for release midway through the season.
Duper Season 5 Offers Big Rewards
Beyond the major features, Season 5 brings several additional updates aimed at improving the overall user experience. These include new tutorials, an overhauled user interface, and a redesigned season pass reward system. Chips have been standardized as the main in-game currency for both Casual and Ranked modes, and bank payment and withdrawal options are now available for U.S. players via Abstract.
Duper Season 5 introduces a wide range of features intended to make the web3-based game more accessible and rewarding. With the addition of a free cash airdrop, tiered season passes, improved matchmaking, and an upcoming mobile release, the game aims to appeal to both new and returning players. Those interested in competing in the upcoming Duper Bowl can begin progressing now by playing matches and contributing to their Duper Bowl balance. As Season 5 continues through July 28, players have ample opportunity to explore its features and potentially earn real money through gameplay.
