Doodles introduces a Telegram-based web3 game, Kyle’s Journey, offering early access rewards and in-game progression tied to simple tasks and referrals.
Doodles has introduced a new addition to its web3 ecosystem with the early access release of Doodles UP! Kyle’s Journey, a mini-game hosted entirely on Telegram. The game is designed to engage users through a bot-based interface that integrates simple gameplay mechanics with referral-based incentives. Over 37,000 users have already joined the Telegram bot ahead of the game's full public launch, marking a notable early response from the community.
Doodles Reveals New Game
The game centers on Kyle, a character from the expanding Doodles universe, who is caught in a digital trap and must catch bugs in order to progress. Players participate by performing basic in-bot tasks such as completing actions and inviting other users to the platform. These activities earn points and unlock loot chests, contributing to a leaderboard that tracks user engagement during the early access phase.
Each player starts with a basic chest, which can be upgraded through increased participation. The Holo Chest, currently the highest chest tier available, is unlocked after a user successfully refers ten others. The content of these chests includes rare items, and player progress during this pre-launch period will influence standings and reward tiers when the full version of the game, referred to as the Portal, becomes available.
Although the game is not yet officially live, users who activate notifications through the Telegram bot will receive updates when the full experience is released. The Doodles team has not confirmed a public launch date.
Doodles Reveals New Game
The release of Kyle’s Journey reflects Doodles’ ongoing strategy to expand its brand beyond digital collectibles. Originally introduced as a generative NFT project featuring 10,000 unique characters, Doodles has evolved into a broader digital and cultural platform. The project was created by artist Scott Martin, also known as Burnt Toast, and has gained recognition through various partnerships and media appearances.
In addition to its original NFT collection, Doodles has developed Doodles 2, a follow-up project that allows users to create customizable avatars and acquire digital wearables. The ecosystem is further supported by the DOOD utility token, which is used to facilitate access and interaction across different products and features within the platform.
Doodles has previously partnered with global brands such as Adidas and McDonald’s, and the collection was recently featured in an episode of The Simpsons. These collaborations demonstrate the brand’s efforts to reach audiences beyond the NFT space while maintaining a focus on web3-native experiences.
Doodles Reveals New Game
The choice to launch a mini-game on Telegram aligns with a broader trend in the web3 space to use familiar messaging platforms to deliver accessible user experiences. Telegram’s bot infrastructure allows developers to create interactive applications without requiring users to download new software or navigate complex interfaces. This approach lowers barriers to entry and encourages wider participation among users who may be unfamiliar with traditional web3 onboarding methods.
By leveraging Telegram for the release of Kyle’s Journey, Doodles is experimenting with new formats that combine entertainment, social interaction, and digital ownership in a streamlined environment. The early engagement figures suggest growing interest in casual web3 games that can be played within widely-used platforms.
Doodles Reveals New Game
As the Doodles team prepares for the full launch of Kyle’s Journey, user activity during the early access phase will remain a central focus. Engagement metrics such as referrals, task completion, and leaderboard rankings will play a role in shaping the distribution of rewards when the Portal opens. While details about the full version of the game remain limited, the current rollout indicates a structured effort to build sustained interest and integrate gaming into the broader Doodles ecosystem.
The game is currently accessible through the official Doodles Telegram bot, with no confirmed timeline for its complete release. Users interested in participating can join the experience immediately and receive notifications about future updates directly through the platform.
