Dante Games begins a $100K tournament series on July 29 following the $DANTE token launch. Players can join by holding or staking tokens in a series of structured competitive events.

Dante Games has announced the launch of a structured tournament series tied to the recent token generation event (TGE) for its $DANTE token. The competitive campaign, which includes four separate events, will begin on July 29 with the "Open Arena" tournament and could award up to $100,000 in total prizes. About The $DANTE Token

The $DANTE token was launched on July 22 through MEXC and is also available on Immutable’s zkEVM chain. It functions as the core utility token within the Dante Games platform. Players use $DANTE to access ranked matches, enter tournaments, and unlock premium features.

The token is also used for purchasing NFTs and in-game items. Additionally, a staking web application is now live, enabling users to vest, stake, and claim tokens. Further platform features, including NFT campaigns and creator-focused initiatives, are scheduled for rollout in the coming quarter.

Hellmaster on Epic Games Store

Hellmaster is the first title released by Dante Games. The game is a strategy-based RPG that features card mechanics and thematic elements inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Players form teams of evolving characters and navigate through nine levels of increasingly difficult challenges. The game offers three primary modes: Adventure Mode for solo progression, Battle Arena for ranked PvP, and Hellmaster Arena, a weekend-only competition format.

The game is currently available on Android, Elixir, Ultra, and the Epic Games Store. According to data from Spores Network, over 15,000 players participated during the first week of the open beta. The title has seen consistent activity, with more than 3,000 daily users and over 50,000 matches played per day.

New $100K Tournament Series

The tournament series is scheduled to take place over a one-month period, with each event lasting five days. The first event, Open Arena, runs from July 29 to August 2 and is open to all players free of charge. It features a prize pool of $10,000 and is intended to encourage initial engagement from new users within the Dante Games ecosystem.

Following Open Arena, three more tournaments are scheduled: Holder’s Trials from August 6 to 10, League of the Eternals from August 16 to 20, and a final bonus round called Final Ascension, which is set for August 26 to 30.

The last event will only be unlocked if at least 9,000 players qualify across the earlier competitions. Entry into Holder’s Trials and League of the Eternals requires players to hold or stake $DANTE tokens, with different thresholds based on staking periods. The prize pool for each event will increase if participation milestones are met.

Entry Requirements and Prizes

Players must meet specific token holding or staking conditions to qualify for the second and third tournaments. Those holding tokens in their wallet need at least 40,000 $DANTE, while the required amounts decrease with longer staking durations: 20,000 tokens for a 3-month stake, 10,000 for a 6-month stake, and 5,000 for a 12-month stake. These values are calculated based on approximate current token valuations.

The prize pools are designed to scale based on player participation. For example, Holder’s Trials will offer a $20,000 pool if 3,500 or more players qualify. League of the Eternals will increase to a $30,000 prize pool if over 6,000 players join. The Final Ascension event, if unlocked, will add an additional $40,000 to the total tournament rewards.

Match Rules and Leaderboard System

Scoring across all events will be based on a daily match system that includes both PvE and PvP gameplay. Players earn points through matches in Adventure Mode and the Battle Arena. Each day, only the first 15 matches will contribute to the leaderboard score.

Adventure Mode wins are worth 1,000 points, while losses subtract 500 points. Battle Arena wins award 2,000 points, and losses result in a 500-point deduction. Match limits reset at 00:00 UTC daily. All rewards will be calculated and distributed after the series concludes to ensure fairness and accuracy in the final rankings.

Future Development and Expansion Plans

The Dante Games team has outlined several upcoming developments aimed at expanding its ecosystem. Two new games, Eternal Fighters and Infernal Bastions, are already in production. Additional features including public NFT sales, creator monetization tools, and enhanced esports infrastructure are expected in the months ahead. The platform also plans to test AI-driven gameplay agents and implement broader token listings across centralized and decentralized exchanges.

Long-term plans include the development of a multi-chain infrastructure that will enable interoperability of game assets and characters across different titles and blockchain networks. The company has also indicated early plans for building its own Layer 1 blockchain, optimized for gaming and AI applications.
