Cross The Ages transitions to the Solana blockchain, introducing account consolidation, a CTA-token marketplace, and gameplay updates as it prepares for Season 4.
Cross The Ages, the blockchain-based trading card game developed by Cross The Ages Studio, has completed its migration from Immutable to the Solana blockchain. The move follows the studio’s recently announced strategic partnership with Animoca Brands and the development of a second ecosystem title, Arise.
Following the migration, the studio has introduced a range of new features and infrastructure changes as part of what it refers to as “the Solana era.” These updates are set to roll out gradually in preparation for Season 4, with Season 3 scheduled to conclude on September 25.

As part of the migration process, Cross The Ages has implemented an updated account system that consolidates player identities. Players with multiple accounts are now required to choose one primary account, with the remaining accounts merged into it. This process is linked to a single Know Your Customer (KYC) verification per user, aimed at simplifying identity management across the ecosystem.
The in-game marketplace has also been modified and now operates exclusively using the CTA token. This change aligns with the studio’s broader efforts to integrate the CTA token more deeply into game mechanics and marketplace transactions within the Solana ecosystem.
A new authentication system has been introduced, allowing players to log in using Phantom wallet, Epic Games, Google, or Apple. These login methods can be customized through the Cross The Ages Portal. Alongside this, a redesigned dashboard has been launched to help players track their in-game assets more efficiently. The interface includes updated monitoring for assets such as Eternal cards, Stones, Trisel, and CTA tokens.

One of the most notable additions following the migration is the introduction of the Eternal Multiplier system. This feature enhances Trisel earnings by increasing the value of a player’s card collections across all games in the ecosystem. The system is designed to support additional engagement with marketplace activities, card rentals, and broader exposure to the CTA token.
The Eternal Multiplier will be activated in the weeks following the migration and will include new decentralized finance (DeFi) functionalities along with a VIP program. These additions are part of the studio’s strategy to improve long-term participation and utility for in-game assets.

Cross The Ages Studio explained that the decision to migrate to Solana was based on the need for a more clearly defined progression system. The goal was to enhance player engagement through web3 mechanics involving NFTs and the CTA token. The studio also noted that the migration provided an opportunity to rework the web3 utility of Eternal cards and to encourage more dynamic use of card collections.
As part of the transition, not all assets will be carried over from Immutable. Assets that remain on IMX will be frozen, and some will be removed from the game. The studio stated that this process will allow them to reduce the number of obsolete assets in the ecosystem. Affected players will either receive refunds or have their assets exchanged.

Season 4 will introduce several structural changes to the game. The Forge system will be removed, and the card classification system will be simplified by eliminating Flex cards. Moving forward, only Static and Eternal cards will be supported, with minting limited to Static cards. Physical card collections will also be integrated into the Cross The Ages Portal in the form of real-world assets, further blending physical and digital elements within the ecosystem.
Additionally, the game will introduce Land NFTs, which require protection using card placements, adding a new strategic element to gameplay. Another change affects the classification of cards previously labeled as Exclusives, which were held by team members and investors. These will now be reclassified under a new category called Divine. To encourage players to complete their account migration ahead of Season 4, the studio is offering rewards. These include Palmer and Erika cards and entry into a draw for a chance to win an Eli’Jah Unique card.
