Bullieverse Now Live on Epic Games Store

The web3 gaming platform Bullieverse has launched its third-person shooter, Necrodemic, on the Epic Games Store. This free-to-play, wave-based survival game, created in Unreal Engine 5, combines immersive gameplay with blockchain technology, providing an early opportunity for players to practice and level up before official competitions and airdrop events begin.

With gameplay similar to popular wave-based shooters, Necrodemic invites players to take on relentless waves of enemies in a dynamic world using customizable bull avatars. By incorporating the Beyond Network protocol, Base blockchain, and layer 1 Saga, Bullieverse aims to attract both web3 and traditional gamers to its platform.

Necrodemic is a third-person, wave-based shooter set in a vibrant and immersive universe, where players control humanoid bull characters against waves of enemies like skeletons, flaming hounds, and bear-like creatures. As players progress, they unlock skill tokens that can be used to boost attributes such as health and weapon strength through a skill tree. This system provides players with ways to customize their strategy and enhance their in-game capabilities.

Taking inspiration from popular survival modes in mainstream games, Necrodemic brings a third-person twist to the genre. Players experience visuals reminiscent of Fortnite, creating a unique visual experience that blends realistic yet playful graphics, optimized for performance on Unreal Engine 5.

Gameplay Modes and Features

Upon launch on Epic Games, Necrodemic offers three distinct game modes designed to test player endurance and tactical skills:

  1. Undead Rush: A traditional wave-based mode, Undead Rush challenges players to defeat waves of enemies across 20 rounds. This mode allows players to earn points by taking down enemies and unlocking additional areas of the map, which is divided into two visually distinct sections. Power-ups, such as instant kills and rapid-fire modes, randomly drop throughout the rounds to enhance gameplay.
  2. Quick Mode: In Quick Mode, players aim to survive against waves of enemies for 15 minutes instead of 20 rounds. This mode uses the same map as Undead Rush and provides a shorter yet more intense gameplay experience.
  3. Last Stand: A unique mode in the Necrodemic lineup, Last Stand places players in a specific location protected by a breakable barrier. Players earn points by defeating waves of enemies and can use these points to purchase weapons and grenades from a virtual shop. The objective in Last Stand is to prevent enemies from breaching the barrier for as long as possible.

Currently, all three modes are designed for solo play, allowing players to develop their skills individually. By jumping into the game now, players can practice and prepare for the upcoming play-to-airdrop competitions that Bullieverse plans to introduce.

Tournaments and P2A Events

As part of Bullieverse’s roadmap for Necrodemic, leaderboard-based tournaments will soon be launched, rewarding high-scoring players with $BULL tokens. While these competitions were initially expected to go live with the game’s release, they have been delayed briefly. According to a recent announcement, Bullieverse encouraged its community to look out for a series of campaigns and activations starting November 11th. These events are expected to include tournaments with token prize pools, where players can compete across all three game modes for a chance to earn airdropped rewards.

Necrodemic is available for free download on the Epic Games Store, and players can start by creating a Beyond Network account for access. The game currently supports Windows PCs, with a MacOS version expected to be available soon.
