Boss Fighters, a free-to-play arena combat game, launched its Economy Test on November 14, 2024, offering players a chance to experience the game’s economic model. This test introduces the opportunity to earn proxy BFT tokens—convertible to real tokens later—and unlock game items that will persist into the game’s full release.
The game pits a team of four players against a player-controlled giant mech, blending fast-paced action with innovative economic features. With its roots in eSports, Boss Fighters aims to redefine player-driven economies in gaming.

Boss Fighters is an asynchronous arena combat game where a team of four Fighters battles a Boss—a giant enemy controlled by another player. The Boss can use devastating attacks like smashing buildings and throwing debris, while Fighters rely on grappling hooks, rockets, and other gear to fight back.
Players can experience the game in VR, adding a layer of immersion to the Boss role. Seasons introduce new gear and cosmetics, and players can mint items into NFTs to preserve them between seasons.
Boss Fighters Gameplay

Weekly leaderboards offer additional incentives. During the first week, players who spend 6,200 Proxy BFT qualify for leaderboard rewards. Rankings are determined by crafting and merging activities, with top players earning Showrunner Contracts and Sponsor Marks. Leaderboard events will be adjusted after each round to improve the reward system. The Boss Fighters economy introduces a dynamic mix of currencies and items:
BFT tokens have a capped supply of 1 billion, primarily distributed through gameplay. Boss Fighters integrates seamlessly with web3 via Open Loot, eliminating the need for a dedicated wallet. Players can buy and sell digital collectibles such as character, weapon, and Boss skins directly on the platform. Importantly, these skins are cosmetic-only and do not impact gameplay.
