BGA Web3 Gaming Industry Survey 2025

The Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA) has opened its annual survey for 2025, inviting professionals across the blockchain gaming and web3 ecosystem to share their insights and experiences. Now in its fifth year, the survey provides valuable data that contributes to the Alliance’s yearly report, a publication that has gained visibility through coverage in mainstream media. The findings are scheduled for release in December 2025.

Eligibility for Participation

The survey is open to a broad spectrum of professionals working in or connected to blockchain gaming. Founders, executives, developers, publishers, and venture capital representatives are eligible to participate, along with service providers specializing in legal, finance, marketing, and public relations. Journalists and content creators who actively cover blockchain gaming are also encouraged to respond.

In addition, esports players who are under contract with competitive guilds or receive financial support in the form of salaries or sponsorships qualify to take part. The survey welcomes responses from individuals who are currently employed as well as those who may be between roles within the industry.

Incentives and Requirements

To encourage participation, the BGA is offering three prizes that will be awarded through a random draw. The prizes include one Nintendo Switch and two Amazon vouchers valued at €50 each. To be eligible for the draw, respondents must complete the survey using a company email address to verify their professional identity. Submissions made with personal email addresses, such as those from Gmail or similar services, will not qualify for prize consideration.

Survey Availability and Closing Date

The 2025 BGA survey is accessible online and will remain open until Friday, September 12, 2025. Participants will have the opportunity to provide both structured responses and open-ended feedback. Selected quotations from the open-answer section may be featured in the final report, giving professionals a platform to have their perspectives represented more directly.
