The Epic Era of Axie Infinity: Origins Season 10 is now underway, marking the end of the Rare Era. After intense competition during the Rare Era, which saw Turnip Snake Jar teams dominate the leaderboard, the game enters a new phase. What is Axie Origins?

Axie Infinity Origins is a card-based strategy game where players collect, own, and use an infinite variety of creatures called Axies to battle. Players can take down evil Chimeras in the Adventure mode or challenge other players in the Arena to reach the top of the Leaderboard. The web3 game is free to download and play on Android, PC, and MacOS devices.

Three free non-NFT starter axies are available for everyone to utilize, enjoy, and get more acquainted with the game, with more available to be unlocked by playing the game. Starter axies are available to allow new players the opportunity to play Axie Infinity without first having to purchase axies. This allows users to test the product with absolutely no strings attached. 

S10 Epic Era Leaderboard Rewards

The Epic Era brings significant incentives for players aiming for the top. With a total prize pool of 24,000 AXS—representing 30% of the season’s total—there is a lot at stake. The Era runs from September 11th to 24th, giving competitors two weeks to claim their share of the rewards.

Players finishing the Epic Era in Dragon Rank will unlock Collectible Chest Rewards. These chests, based on the highest-tier collectible axie in the player's account, offer an array of prizes. However, to qualify, players must retain their collectible axie throughout the entire duration of the Epic Era.

Collectible rewards, Fortune Slips, and Meta Morph are some of the treasures awaiting participants. For players who missed out on the Rare Era, it's a good time to invest in collectible axies, as their value continues to rise with each Era.

Epic Era Gauntlet Mode

A standout feature of the Epic Era is the Gauntlet Mode, offering competitive players a chance to earn even more rewards. Gauntlet Mode starts on September 16 at 11:30 AM PH / 11:30 PM EST and runs until September 24. Players can enter the mode for a fee of 50 SLP, and each battle comes with its own set of rewards, regardless of the outcome.
