The Origins S13 Postseason is live, featuring the Elite 8 Tournament and collectible axie rewards. Here's what you need to know about the format, rules, and prize distribution.
The Origins Season 13 Postseason is here, and the competition just stepped up. After weeks of battles in the arena, TCO Nub came out on top of the leaderboard. But now it’s time for the Elite 8 Tournament - where the best players face off for bragging rights and a serious AXS prize pool.

The Elite 8 kicked off on July 13 at 6 PM PHT (6 AM EST), with the livestream starting an hour later. The top eight Origins players from the season are going head-to-head for a share of a 3,000 AXS prize pool. Every player in the tournament also received Morph Tickets to help prep their teams ahead of time, adding a layer of strategy before the first match even starts.
To compete, players had to register three teams made up of three axies each. There are strict limits to keep things balanced - teams can’t share more than nine axie parts across them, and once teams are locked in, they can’t be changed. Any collectible axies submitted also need to include morph parts, which are locked in as well. A validation tool was made available to check that teams meet all the eligibility rules.

This postseason is using a double elimination format. If a player loses once, they drop to the lower bracket - lose again, and they're out. The twist comes in the Grand Finals. If a player makes it through the upper bracket without a single loss, they get a twice-to-beat advantage, giving them a serious edge.
Matches use a "First to 3" format. To win, a player needs to win one game with each of their three teams. Once a team wins, it can’t be reused for the rest of the match, which means players have to think carefully about their lineup order. Also worth noting - the Rice card is banned from this tournament due to a known bug, so any axies using it are automatically disqualified.

Outside the tournament, there’s still plenty of value going around for collectors. Axie Infinity is distributing Season 13 rewards based on collectible axie tickets. These tickets were tied to the tier of Collectible Chest players received during the season, and they determine how much of the 7,000 AXS reward pool each person gets.
A total of 17,667,073 tickets were issued, and each one is worth 0.3962173 mAXS. Once rewards are calculated, the AXS will be sent directly to each player’s Ronin wallet. No need to claim or convert manually.

With the Elite 8 tournament in motion and rewards rolling out, Season 13 is wrapping up with a strong finish. But there’s already more on the horizon. Season 14 is coming soon, and the Atia’s Legacy playtest is on the way. Players should stay tuned for updates and be ready to jump back in as the next chapter of Origins unfolds.
Whether you're competing in the tournament, collecting your rewards, or just watching from the sidelines, this postseason has plenty to offer. And as Origins continues to evolve, it’s clear that web3 gaming still has a lot left in the tank.
