Avalanche has opened applications for its Codebase accelerator program, spanning 12 weeks, and is set to commence its inaugural cohort in spring 2024. This initiative aims to provide a stepping stone for early-stage web3 startups, offering practical benefits such as a $50,000 stipend and guidance from key figures in the web3 community, including web3 builders and the Avalanche Foundation.
The program's notable feature is the demo day, which provides a platform for participants to showcase their projects and compete for a $400,000 investment prize pool generously provided by the Foundation. Codebase's mentorship program includes industry leaders such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, BitGo, Chainlink, Chainstack, Carta, Deel, Brex, OpenZeppelin, Fireblocks, and Biconomy. This mentorship covers both technical and business aspects, addressing areas like marketing, fundraising, and operations planning.
Codebase will be welcoming global applications and has established hubs in Buenos Aires and Bangalore. However, with an anticipated acceptance rate of less than 1%, the selection process for the first cohort is expected to be competitive.
Designed exclusively for early-stage startups with less than $250,000 in funding, Codebase underscores its commitment to supporting the growth of emerging web3 projects. Each participating team will benefit from a tailored roadmap developed by an Avalanche coach, aiming to equip startups with the necessary knowledge and resources for success in the evolving web3 landscape.

As the deadline for applications approaches, the Codebase accelerator program stands poised to contribute to the shaping of the future of decentralized technologies, eagerly anticipated by the global web3 community.
