Aptos Labs has entered into a strategic collaboration with Ready Games (READYgg) to facilitate the seamless transition of 15 million gamers from web2 to web3. This partnership, grounded in practicality, introduces non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to enhance popular web2 gaming titles, signaling a noteworthy evolution in the gaming industry.

Known for its layer-1 blockchain technology, Aptos Labs provides a swift and scalable infrastructure ideal for gaming projects. READYgg is a platform specializing in integrating web3 elements into web2 games that has already successfully onboarded over 20 major web2 publishers - making it a fitting collaborator for this initiative.

The collaborative effort focuses on migrating four distinguished titles into the Aptos ecosystem. "Runestone Keeper," a roguelike dungeon crawler on PC, Android, and iOS, leads the migration. Following suit is "Rescue Robots Sniper Survival," a first-person action game for Android. Additionally, the hypercasual platform "Minijuegos" and browser-based social gaming portal "ToroFun" are slated to debut on Aptos on December 6th of this year, with whitelisting of players already underway since November 20th.

Bridging web2 games to web3 has always been our goal, which is why we’ve built a range of tools traditional publishers can use to seamlessly reach a web3 audience and bring their typical users into the world of on-chain gaming.

David S. Bennahum, CEO & Co-Founder of READYgg.

The migration strategy extends beyond the transfer of games, emphasizing the integration of web3 elements, particularly NFTs. Minijuegos and ToroFun are set to introduce an NFT-based loyalty system, aiming to enhance user engagement and ownership within the gaming community. Aptos and READYgg also plan to support ecosystem publishers through grants distributed via the READYgg $RDYX token. This practical approach aims to foster innovation within the web3 gaming community.
