Animoca Brands and Everest Ventures Group (EVG) have announced a strategic partnership, entailing cross-investments into each other's projects. The collaboration seeks to harness the potential of emerging blockchain economies in key Asian markets, with a focus on driving real-world use cases and enhancing accessibility to web3 games and experiences for end-users.
Animoca Brands, chaired by Yat Siu, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting EVG's role as a longstanding ally and dedicated builder. Siu stated, “EVG is one of our earliest allies and dedicated builders. We’re thrilled to further elevate our partnership and support EVG’s various projects, which we believe have a high potential for mass adoption.”
Animoca Brands and EVG Strengthen Partnership
As part of the agreement, Animoca will extend support to several upcoming EVG projects, including the infrastructure layer OpenSocial Protocol, social bounty and reputation network Zeek, turn-based RPG Legend of Aracdia, and 5X war battle simulator Last Odessey.
In return, EVG will invest in a range of Animoca projects, including Bitcoin metaverse studio Darewise Entertainment (building Life Beyond), on-chain chess game Anichess, membership NFT pfp collection Mocaverse, and more.
